A beautiful villa with balcony views over beach houses, towards the sea. A quiet retreat, perfect for 4, but with space for up to two more on the sofa bed downstairs. Enjoy uninterrupted soft sounds of the sea whilst you sip your morning coffee on the terrace, or enjoy a quiet evening as the sky changes colour before you with the stunning Antiguan sunsets. The villa is just a stone's throw away from North Beach (or 2 minutes walk!), and an ~8 minute golf buggy ride to the hub of the harbour, where you will find charming restaurants from around the world. South Beach's inviting beach bar, Bodog (previously Castaways) is a friendly and typically Caribbean beach bar and restaurant to while away the hours with loungers and umbrellas on the beach. We provide umbrellas and portable sun loungers and beach chairs for the quieter North Beach, close to the villa. The villa has been upgraded and renovated and is full of Caribbean charm, with a well equipped kitchen and bathrooms. Each bedroom is en-suite, with a super king in the master and double in the second bedroom. There is a golf course, gym and tennis courts within Jolly Harbour. Whilst a car is not necessary, you will need a golf buggy to get to the shops/restaurants/tennis courts/golf course/Castaways beach bar. We can organise that for you, as well as helping with taxi to and from the airport, if required. We have two bicycles for guest use. Flat screen smart TV with Netflix Our minimum stay is 5 days, but please do check in as we may be able to accommodate special requests, although the price will differ. Covid19 Testing - we are making it easy for you to get back to the UK/US after your vacation. Covid testing can be done at the villa. You do not need to leave to do a test. Our house doctor administers either rapid or PCR testing at a cost of US$250 per person. Rapid test results within 30 minutes. The property manager Jenny was exceptional with answering questions and she provided lots of great tips and suggestions. She also facilitated getting transportation to and from the airport and also arranged a golf cart rental for us. It was very quiet which is what we were looking for. We appreciated the golf cart we rented so we could come and go as needed. Some furniture is soon to need an upgrade. The highlight was our property host Jenny who met us at the villa, arranged our cart rental & airport transfers and checked in regularly to ensure we had all we needed. Jolly harbour was wonderful. The communication with the property manager was excellent. Really no details were left out. This was a really great alternative to staying on a resort. We rented a car and ventured around the island finding quiet secluded beaches and adorable beach bars along the way. We met some really great locals who gave us some Antigua history as well as places we should visit while staying on the island. If you are looking for more of an adventure over staying on a resort, I definitely recommend. There are resorts nearby that offer day passes as well if you want some resort life in your vacation as well. However, with the gorgeous secluded beaches around, I don’t think you’ll need it. Our favorite beach was Hermitage bay. Very quiet, beautiful and I found a few sea glass pieces on this beach. ##### Catherine M. Stayed 7 nights in Mar 2023 ### 10/10 Excellent #### John Jan 5, 2024 Liked: Cleanliness, amenities, property conditions & facilities, communication Great spot in a gated community in Jolly Harbor that is close to many of the best beaches in Antigua. Easy to walk to nearby beach and short drive to others. Community is gated with security, and was very quiet. We really enjoyed the back deck area for morning coffee and evening sunsets. Communication with the property manager was excellent and she was very helpful on providing tips and information on the property, Jolly Harbor and Antigua in general. Overall the property was clean, the bed was comfortable and there were plenty of towels, some beach chair options and even some bikes to rent. After staying in Antigua for a week, we came to enjoy Jolly Harbor and this villa was a great launching spot for daily activities and great place to unwind at night. Various dining options are located within the harbor area, and just outside, and we found all of the food to be excellent. There is also a grocery store at the edge of the marina that was well stocked for our needs. Looking ahead, when we return to Antigua, we will definitely consider using this villa again. ##### John Stayed 8 nights in Dec 2023 ### 4/10 Poor #### Christina Mar 7, 2024 Disliked: Communication Congested parking, inconvenient location far from city. manager make us take out the trash & expected us to clean on vacation. It’s an older villa, roaches in the closet by kitchen area. They need to upgrade electrical outlets, no wash cloths. The unit is at the far end of the property, number not visible at night very hard to find. I have more not enough room to eloborate. ##### Christina Stayed 7 nights in Feb 2024 ### 10/10 Excellent #### Robin G., Barnsley South Yorkshire UK Feb 18, 2024 Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication, location, listing accuracy #### Caribbean Tranquility We stayed at this property February 2024 initially just my wife & I but we were joined by daughter & son in law as a suprise for my wife’s 60th. The owner Lisa is very approachable and responded to messages promptly. The property is managed by Jenny who gave us a warm welcome when we arrived and showed us where everything was in the property, she even arranged a taxi from the airport, golf buggy and car hire for us. The property was very clean & tidy with good quality fittings and well appointed kitchen & utilities. The cleaners even came in to clean during our stay. Any queries we had during our stay were dealt with promptly and efficiently by Jenny. The location is ideal, very peaceful with north beach a 3 minute walk away, to get to the south beach, supermarket, Petals, Bascilca, El Porto & curry house you will need to hire a golf cart or car. We were very sad to leave and will look at this properties availibity when return in the future. ##### Robin G.
