"This location was perfect for a family of 4-6. There is a dock to keep your boat in the water during your stay with a state boat launch 1/2 mile from the house! You get your exercise walking to and from the dock! Very peaceful lake getaway! Would and probably will book again"

We were hosting a party at Tinney's Tavern in Lake Desolation and the South Shore House was a perfect place to retreat to at the end of the evening! Kyle was super responsive to any questions we had. "The area surrounding the cabin was beautiful. Great fishing spot. Cabin itself was equipped with everything we needed and comfortably slept 5. Owner was very friendly, helpful, and easy to reach. Generator was enough to keep out phones alive for 2 nights. Great spot, will definitely be coming back."
