The property feels remote and the view from the back deck is beautiful -- true Texas hill country. We loved having the pool out back and spent almost the full time between there and the deck. The wading/tanning ledge in the pool was perfect for our boys. (It does get deep, though, so be aware if you have younger kids who are not yet swimming!) There was a storage box with extra floats, pool toys, umbrellas, and pool chairs, which was an added bonus :) The kitchen is fully equipped. There was more than enough room to spread out in the house, and the boys had plenty of space to explore and play. We ran into a few small issues, but the property management team was responsive and quick to assist. If we are ever looking for another staycation in the hill country, we would book again.
