Perfectly located within walking distance to downtown Johnson City and just a scenic 30-minute drive along the 290 Wine Trail to Fredericksburg, this cozy retreat blends comfort, convenience, and Texas charm. The Space: Inside, you’ll find a spacious Queen bedroom and a beautifully tiled walk-in shower that adds a touch of luxury to your stay. The full kitchen is well-equipped for everything from morning coffee to a home-cooked dinner, and the washer and dryer make extended stays a breeze. Step outside to enjoy the large backyard where relaxation and outdoor dining come together. Fire up the propane grill, gather around the firepit under the stars, or enjoy a casual meal at the picnic table. Whether you're exploring local wineries, heading to nearby attractions, or simply unwinding in your own private space, The Johnson is the perfect home base for your Hill Country adventure. \*Please make sure the propane grill is turned off after use and properly put away the retractable patio umbrella. Great location and it had everything you’ll need! The pecan trees gave me some time in the backyard watching the squirrels battle for pecans. It was actually the perfect size for two people and one pup. The interior was not only very clean and comfy, but the decor was delightful. The thoughtful decoration and fantastic use of space was felt throughout. The backyard was spacious, well kept and very private. The location could not have been better… morning walks to the coffee shop and evening strolls to the square for wining and dining were just what we wanted to experience. Also was a great location that made it easy to venture out to wineries during the day. The hosts were fantastic with prompt service and kind replies whenever we had a question.
