The address on website was different from the on Google Maps and Bing. So we first went to wrong place which was not in a good area. The room was very clean, spacious and had great amenities (stove, fridge, microwave). Not really a lot of conveniences near by. Most of the restaurants were near or in the mall. My stay at Hyatt House Sandton was extremely disappointing. My initial requests before arrival were ignored, and I ended up being moved between three different rooms due to broken air conditioning, a nonfunctional TV, missing amenities, and even an oven that exploded. Housekeeping never delivered basic items like washcloths without repeated requests, and service was slow, unresponsive, and at times unfriendly. The final room still had broken fixtures, no working phone, and constant noise from the pool and restaurant area. Our second night there, they had very limited offering due to an event they had there which was very very disappointing, only 3 options available hamburgers, chicken sandwich or pizza. Wanted a salad and their soup but was not offered because of group. I had a good experience with the Hyatt in New York, but their Johannesburg Residence was a disappointment.
