A Hotel with a View

This hotel is in a beautiful location in the hills slightly to the West of Jerusalem with wonderful views. The room was quite basic but provided everything that was necessary. Plenty of hot water with good pressure in the shower and the bathroom was equipped with toiletries. The staff were excellent and helpful in the extreme.

Surprise package

Did not expect very much, given that the room cost was a fraction of the hotel next door where we had wanted to stay but which had no vacant rooms. We took a standard room (there are better rooms) which was spacious, clean, air-conditioned (controls a little dated but very effective), with en-suite shower and WC, Facilities - it is run as pert hostel, part hotel and does not have a glamorous reception are.Some food is available (kosher but not superised), and there is a reception drink for new arrivals at 6.30 pm. More elaborate meals can be arranged at the Yearim Hotel next door, and guests can on request use the Yearim swimming pool, So there are many plusses, I would givethe hotel a good 3-star rating at a very reasonable price.

the room had a strong smell of the anti-worms wood product, and breakfast wasn't very good. Salat from the day before and no fruits, no real cofee etc.

Liked the place, disliked the service

This is our second stay at Selina's hotels, and we set our expectations accordingly (not to have them too high). It was good, especially for the price we paid, but where the facilities were accommodating, the service was lacking. Don't get me wrong.. the staff is welcoming, but it seems they were not equipped to handle a high load of residence at the hotel; the bar was overcrowded, the reception was mostly unattended, the breakfast felt empty at most times with a few Items that ran out and others that were just not supplied as fast as they were in demand for. We also had to go back and forth to the bar for cups/milk/fillers and wait extensively to get what we wanted. They were no desserts that were vegan (or at least non that were marked as such and no staff around to ask for clarifications). Again, it was ok, but the service was our stay's pitfall.

Hotel con mucho potencial

Hemos llegado al hotel sabiendo que recien habia sido inaugurado. Teniendo en cuenta que quizas eso traeria algunos percances. Debo decir que se destacaba mucho el esfuerzo del personal para hacernos sentir a gusto. Siempre con una sonrisa y dispuesto a ayudar en todo. Hubieron pequeños detalles que restaron puntos, pero que tienen facil solucion. Como por ejemplo que la habitacion no contaba con un tacho de basura. O agujeros en las paredes de cuadros que fueron retirados. Las vistas del hotel sin duda les suman mucho puntos a favor. Creo que volveria a hospedarme aqui en un tiempo cuando el hotel este ya en pleno funcionamiento.
