3 star rating is about right, very clean, staff very friendly and helpful, restaurant and food was good, a nice bar area but could get noisy with the "Entertainment". Nice warm indoor pool area. The only draw back is there are a lot of stairs and only one lift that doesn't serve all areas. If you have a mobility problem then make sure you ask for a room that is accessible by lift. The rooms themselves are a bit dated and could do with being refreshed, having said that, our room was very clean with a very comfortable bed.

Mini Break.
We stayed here for 3 nights while we were on Jersey and this was just what we wanted. The staff we very friendly and very helpful and we would stay here again if on the Island.

Our short holiday break.
The Hotel is traditional or conventional in its provision of services provided- not flash nor dowdy. Suits a mature clientele though there are steps within the building requiring consideration by anybody with mobility issues. Pleasant enough stay for a brief get away holiday or break.

Room was a lot dirtier than expected, there’s also a foul smell throughout the corridors. Did not look like how the images online make it out to be. Unfortunately wasn’t able to receive a decent refund for this - the area around the hotel is pretty bad too - it’s next to a roundabout so a lot of road noise.

Disappointing
Our room was a little tired and in need of refurbishment; the bed was too firm for me but I understand this is a personal preference and may be perfectly OK for others. All of the staff that I came into contact with (reception, restaurant, housekeeping) were very good and investing in people is clearly an area of excellence for the hotel. As regards the food, I thought that the breakfast offering was good but the buffet dinner was poor quality and overpriced. I am a regular visitor to St Helier and there are better hotels nearby in this price bracket that I will use in the future.

Although the property in areas was in need of updating, our room certainly. it was clean and well looked after. The high point of the hotel was the food which was always delicious, with good choices and plentiful. The staff in the restaurant were pleasant and helpful. The walk into the town centre of 10 - 15 minutes became a chore, and there was nowhere to have a stroll in the immediate vicinity. Having said that, if you don't mind being slightly out of the centre it is a good hotel.

GREAT STAY AT THE NORFOLK LODGE HOTEL
Arrived in the afternoon, room was clean, staff were polite and friendly. It was a very hot afternoon, we requested a fan as room was stuffy, a fan was provided and used for the duration of our stay. In the evening there was entertainment in the downstairs lounge. Meals were good, breakfast was buffet style, always hot and fresh. Minor drawbacks - lots of steps to the upper floors and no lift to the front part of the hotel and no air conditioning to the bed rooms.

The staff were all very helpful, friendly and efficient. Breakfast was very good. Was great to have a a restaurant and bar on site. Our room was clean and good size, could do with a few hooks to hang coats, towels etc. Bed and pillows not that comfortable.

The staff were amazing. Rooms cleaned daily. Breakfast had a great selection. The room was a little dated but comfy bed and clean too. I would definitely go back.

Staff, breakfast and the convenient location all excellent. It is a shame the hotel locks its doors in the night… had to wait to be let in both nights… perhaps a key card facility on the door or a night porter present might make this hotel even better!

With the conditions so hot the room was unbearable at night with no air conditioning or fan. It also never had a refrigerator to keep drinks cold.

Very dated hotel could really do with a facelift. We stayed in room 10 and the fire door was right in front of our door making it very difficult to get in and out of. Staff very friendly. The hotel is in the middle of nowhere and about 15 minutes walk outside town. Very little tourist activity around

The Norfolk Lodge
The staff in the hotel are very nice and friendly, The location is very good just a 10 minute walk to the town centre loads of shops and pubs.The breakfast was very nice and the main meals was very good too £25 for a 3 course dinner.Drinks £14 for two large wines and a Pint was £4.20 for a pale ale. Very easy to get about on the buses.

Overpriced!!!!
Generally the hotel was good but outdated.£160 a night for a 3 star with wood chip wallpaper and a tiny TV. £70 a night max. All my friends, including islanders, couldn’t believe the price even during high season. I didn’t have dinner but the breakfast was good.
