The battery was dead in the door lock and the host never responded to that complaint so my husband had to go buy batteries and figure out how to fix it. The listing says it sleeps 8\. 3 of my kids slept in pillowcases and bed sheets because there were no extra blankets. We had 8 people and two of them had to sleep on the floor. The windows do not lock. After the first day there was no hot water at all. The owner did respond to this complaint but did not fix it and we took freezing showers for two days. This was the perfect location to accommodate our family of 6 during a short visit to New York. Common bathroom supplies were available, the 2 bedrooms and the sofa-bed in the living room were really clean and comfortable, and the kitchen was equipped with everything we needed during our stay. The apartment has a nice balcony in the back where you can relax after a long day; there's a big supermarket almost across the street, and the bus stop is right at the corner. Parking in the street was available for every day of our stay, although you must switch the parking side per the city's ordinances.
