« Perfect spot for our summer family reunion ... half from the East coast, the rest from Ohio. We enjoyed swimming (yes, the pool water was cold but super refreshing on hot days), fire pit, spacious kitchen for cooking, breezeway with extra ovens and refrigerator. The big living room was fun for family games and just hanging out. Gorgeous views, loved the sound of the stream nearby. "Trail" goes up to a meadow, but looked like it had not been mowed, so will say with other reviewers that the trail...

« Overall a very pleasant stay. Check-in was a simple process. Our group of 10 had plenty of room to spread out and plenty of room to gather in the large living room area. The kitchen was spacious and well appointed (extra points for having both Keurig-style and a regular drip coffee makers!). « As advertised! Beautiful home, very clean and gorgeous views. Perfect for a family girls weekend! Teenager friendly, the girls never left the basement & had a blast! The added touch of the welcome basket was so appreciated. As it was the off season, we were able to take full advantage of the home and surrounding walking trails. « From the start Kelly was very responsive and helpful! The house was exactly what we needed, a fenced in yard for our dog to run around, a fully stocked kitchen, and plenty of games. « Hidden Valley has been our spring trip each year. This is the second year at this location. It is by far the best choice. First, Mark is a great host. He communicates all information needed in a timely manner and follows up with answers to any questions. The location of his place provided the perfect "home base" for our group. A group hiked the trails in Linn Run, L.Hill, and other trails. Others fished the local trout streams. We used it as launch point for Ligonier, F.L.Wright related sites....

The loss of a star (4/5) rating is solely based on the walking distance from the parking lot to the property which was a challenge for older family members. That aside, the beds were super comfortable and all the standard supplies were plentiful. It was great to have so many full bathrooms (3)…and the Mountain View was amazing! »

"Je n'attendais pas grand chose de cet établissement à part un lieu simple et propre pour faire étape. J'ai découvert une chambre au charme désuet (passons), à la moquette crasseuse et baignée par une forte odeur de renfermé et tabac froid. La climatisation était assourdissante et il a fallu l'éteindre pour fermer l'oeil. Mais le comble fut de découvrir après une mauvaise nuit que j'avais été piquée par des punaises de lit, avec une belle allergie en prime. La médiocrité du petit-déjeuner est-elle pertinente à relever ? Un conseil, passez votre chemin !"
