This pet-friendly haven welcomes pups with open arms, ensuring your entire family can enjoy the wonders of island living together. Book your stay today and make Island Retreat your cherished haven on Jekyll Island! This home can also be rented with the next door unit, Anchor's Away (depending on availability). Please inquire about booking the entire home if you have a larger party. If your stay is 3-21 nights, you will receive a beach gear credit of $35/night. Other things to note: All reservations are charged a $50 processing fee. This fee is non-refundable, even if the reservation is cancelled. Jekyll Island is a state park and as part of conservation, there is a $10 per day parking fee collected at the time you enter the island. You can pay by cash or credit card. There is a $100 pet fee for those guests bringing pets. Anything other than a regular vehicle may be prohibited or may not fit on the property. If you plan to bring a trailer, motorcycle, boat or any other commercial or recreational vehicle, please inquire with the host about whether this is allowed. Please consider purchasing travel insurance for your trip. This may cover you for instances of medical emergencies or inclement weather. We unfortunately can’t offer refunds for these types of situations so we want to ensure you’ve properly covered yourself. Pack N Play and strollers available upon request for $15 each for the duration of your stay. Please notify us at least 1 day in advance if you would like to rent them so we can ensure they are delivered prior to your arrival. Linens are provided for your stay along with a starter set of paper towels, toilet paper, trash bags, shampoo, body wash and laundry pods. They will not be replenished during your stay so make sure to bring some extras if you need! For stays of 30 nights or more, we will collect a $750 refundable security deposit. House Rules: No loud noise after 10pm per county ordinance. Violation of ordinance will result in immediate eviction without refund. No loud music. No parties. Smoking inside the home will result in a $2,000 fee. All pet droppings must be picked up or a $50 fee will be assessed. We stayed for 6 days over Thanksgiving week with family from New England. The property is exactly as advertised and provided a perfect home base for our family. The house has everything you could need for an easy and comfortable stay. The fenced patio and yard were perfect for our pup who loves to sunbathe. Communicating with the owners was simple and they responded quickly when I had a handful of questions in advance of our stay. It is a duplex with a shared wall, so we were mindful of our noise level. We liked the themed decor and furnishings. The kitchen was equipped with all the items we could possibly need. The fenced backyard and doggy water bowls were added bonuses for our pets staying with us. Great outdoor seating too! The location is so convenient to anything on the island and the host provided so many extra items (toiletries, beach chairs, beach towels, a fully stocked coffee bar, etc.) It deserves more than 5 stars, but that’s the highest I can give! It rained a lot but we were still able to get to the beach several times. Restaurants in the area were wonderful and stayed open during the storm. When raining too much, we stayed at the house and played games. A bonus for all of us was the abundance of deer roaming the neighborhood each evening. Management was easily accessible and made sure we had everything we needed during the storm. If you are visiting Jekyll Island, I would definitely consider this rental. ##### Donna M. We came to Jekyll Island to celebrate a 50th birthday. We enjoyed Jekyll Island for its quiet , peaceful atmosphere. The beach was so nice , people were pleasant, and we were lucky to have great weather. Sail Away was a lovely home - clean, beautifully decorated, and had everything we needed. We used the grill, and the fire pit . The back patio is so enjoyable. Beds were comfortable . We also appreciated the 4 beach chairs It’s about 6 minutes to walk to beach access, but no shore during high tide. We went to the Beachview park just a few miles away and enjoyed spending the days there. The Wharf was a wonderful place to eat and watch the sunset. ##### Lisa D. We had a wonderful time visiting Jekyll island. We couldn’t be happier with the property. It was so nice and well put together. There was nothing lacking. Thank you for the detail and care you put into our stay. The beds were very comfortable and the living spaces were quite nice. We were thankful for a place that we could cook - so well stocked. My only criticism would be that we could not get the heater outdoors to work and the bicycle was not able to be used as it had flat tires. Those were minor things but I wanted you to know. Great location, spacious for a duplex and decorated so nice. Spotless and clean upon arrival. The master bathroom is a tight fit for a tall person, meaning the space between the toilet and the wall in front of it. Love, love, love the backyard. We stayed in unit B which had nice shade for the pups and a swing. If you have very small dogs they can squeeze through the spindles in the fence so just watch your pups, as one of mine escaped even though I thought she was too fat to fit through there. Also loved the main living room with the natural light from all of the windows. Saw several deer in the neighborhood.
