Wake up, make breakfast in the fully equipped kitchen, and head out—skiing, hiking, disc golf, canoeing, or exploring the village. When you get back, toss gear straight into the in-unit washer and dryer, light the gas fireplace, and relax. Wi-Fi is strong if you need it, but the fire, porch swing, and quiet woods tend to steal the show. The cabin sleeps up to six in three bedrooms. The main floor has a queen bedroom, a second bedroom with two single beds, and a full bathroom. Upstairs, the third bedroom offers a queen bed and a private ensuite—perfect for a little extra privacy. Each bedroom has its own AC unit for summer comfort. Outside, enjoy outdoor dining, a gas grill, and a firepit with seating for six—great for evenings under the stars. Dogs are welcome, because trips are better with your best trail buddy. You’re 2mile from Smugglers’ Notch, minutes from a wedding barn, and close to family-friendly restaurants, a grocery store, and a few hiking trail options nearby. In winter (date varies depending on weather) the direct route over the mountain between the log cabin and Stowe is closed. The drive around is approximately 50 minutes. Its location was perfect for our trip to Smugglers Notch and close to a grocery store. Beautiful and quiet. Would definitely stay here again. ##### Linda T. Just 3 of us played board games, sat by the fire, watched TV, explored the area. We went to Lot 6, the brewery just a mile away, which was fantastic. The house was perfect for us. The kitchen is very well equipped. Beds were comfortable. Shower had excellent water pressure. The house may be a bit tight for 6 people, but could make it work. It’s quaint and charming cabin. Our first time to Vermont, seeing the colors and Stowe. Great location. Beds were very comfortable. Everything was nice and clean. Easy to find and check in. Maude was quick to communicate and gave recommendations that were helpful. A welcoming gift of pancake mix and Vermont maple syrup was waiting on the counter for us. I would definitely stay again and would recommend Maude’s place. ##### Lori M. The location was perfect and super convenient to get to the wedding and a beautiful drive to Stowe. The house was exactly what we needed. It was me, my toddler son, and my parents and the house worked perfectly for us. Very clean and had everything we needed (including toddler friendly beds and plastic ware for eating).
