La Grava is a beautifully appointed, very high standard 2 bedroom apartment with sea views. The location is the best in Javea with the fantastic beachside bars such as La Siesta and Montgo Di Bongo. The apartment is on the first floor of a popular community; located only 5 minutes walk from Javea’s famous Arenal beach and the lively bars, restaurants, nightclubs and attractions, guests also have easy access to Javea’s famous “Chiringuitos” (Beach bars) which are only a minute away. The apartment enjoys views of the large pool and bay, from the balcony terrace you can see the pool and the sea beyond while sipping your favourite evening drink. The apartment is made up of 2 large bedrooms, first a double master with a private quiet balcony and a second double bedroom. The apartment also benefits from a modern, well equipped kitchen ,open plan dining area and lounge, as well as a full spa bathroom with bath and jet shower. The apartment entrance is protected with door intercom and the terrace enjoys al fresco dining with wonderful views. The apartment has free Wi-Fi for guests use and also has UK satellite TV channels and Spanish Free view channels. The apartment is a comfortable and relaxing space allowing a family of 4 to enjoy Javea without the need of a hire car. The kitchen is adjacent to the dining and lounge area with cosy furnishings and a flat screen TV, DVD, with both Spanish and UK channelsand air-conditioning. The course although flat has many trees and water obstacles and presents a very good challenge. Facilities include : driving range, putting green, motorised trolleys, club bar, lounge bar, restaurant and swimming pool. Jávea golf club, between Moraira and Jávea and is open all year round. The course is a 9 hole, par 72 and measures 3,035 metres. The course is easy to play and relatively flat. Other facilities include : driving range, putting green, club bar and restaurant.. Within a 40 minute drive north in Oliva is Oliva Nova Golf Club, designed by Seve Ballesteros. This testing course has 18 holes, is par 72 and measures 7,051 metres. Other areas to explore: Jávea is made up of three areas. 1/ The Arenal with its beautiful sandy beach, bars and restaurants. During the summer evenings the Arenal is busy with crafts stalls, artists and musicians. 2/ The port area with its fish market and promenade. 3/ The old town with its narrow streets, shops, historic buildings. There is a colourful market every Thursday morning. 10k from Jávea is the town and port of Denia with daily crossings to the Balearic islands. Denia boasts miles of sandy beaches with its tree lined streets, pavement cafés, bars and restaurants. The resort of Benidorm is only a 40 minute drive away and close by is Terra Mítica, which is one of Europe's largest theme parks, you can also visit Aqualandia a themed water park and next door Mundomar with its dolphins, seals and parrots. A drive to Guadalest is a must with its quaint shops, narrow cobbled winding streets and spectacular views from the village square. Jávea Town: Jávea lies between pine-covered Cabo De La Nao to the South and Cabo De San Antonio to the North. The town is ideal for a family holiday, especially in the Spring when the area is ablaze with blossom from the almonds and the scents of orange and lemon trees fill the air. The World Health Organisation has proclaimed Jávea to be ‘environmentally near perfect’ and you can bask in the Costa Blanca’s brightest sunshine here on about 320 days of the year. Jávea old town nestles at the foot of 2,500 feet Mount Montgo, a designated nature reserve. It boasts a 16th century church, covered market and for the historically minded a museum housing a nationally important collection of rare Iberian finds from Montgo. After exploring the town’s fascinating narrow streets, you can make your way to the old fishing port about 1 mile away. To the south of the old town lies the Arenal beach, a broad crescent of fine golden sand backed by a promenade of shops and restaurants. Tiene muy buen menaje de cocina (solo comentar para evitar confusiones que la máquina de café es de capsulas tassimo, no nespreso). La decoración es tal como aparece en las fotos; además tiene mosquiteras en las ventanas. Para las personas a las que prefieran cocinar en casa, dispone de un ajuar-menaje completísimo, algo que se agradece mucho y no es fácil de encontrar. Para las que no, disponen de numerosa oferta gastronómica en Xàbia. El baño es muy completo y las habitaciones muy cómodas. El salón-comedor muy amplio. El apartamento no es nada ruidoso porque está suficientemente separado de la Avda. Mediterráneo sin perder las vistas al mar de las que disfruta. La terraza es soleada en otoño, lo cual resulta muy agradable si hace fresco. Es cierto que la maniobra en la plaza de aparcamiento es un poco laboriosa, pero importa poco y el resto lo compensa: hay que coger el coche lo imprescindible. If you want to be close to Arenal as we do, this is perfect. Spacious corner apartment, well equipped kitchen, two decent sized bedrooms, beautiful views. It’s close to the road but barely any traffic noise. Get up early to enjoy the sunrise from the balcony. Negatives: parking is available in the complex, but extremely tight; just park across on the road on the beach side if you don’t want to scrape your car.... If you have older kids or anyone who doesn’t want to share a double bed, not recommended. You also only get one master key, so need to rely upon those inside to buzz you in.
