The villa is situated 15 minutes drive from both Javea and Denia with everything they have to offer a family summer vacation. You arrive at the villa where there is ample parking for 3 cars, up a short flight of stairs to the main terrace. The terrace is split into 3 areas towards the rear behind the pool is a summer kitchen and bar area equipped with fridge, gas BBQ, sink with a small dining table and bar stools in the shade. A great area that will certainly be the centre of the food and drink activities on your vacation. Next to the summer kitchen is a shaded area with enough space for 2 sun loungers or chairs providing shade from the midday sun, reading a book or a great shaded area for the children to play. The pool is a modern design with fountain and plenty of space for the sun worshippers. Moving towards the front of the villa across the terrace is a dining table for 8 and outdoor seating with coffee table for 5 people. heading into the villa you arrive in the spacious dining / living room with seating for 6 in front of the flat screen TV which has a full UK SKY TV package and Spanish digital channels and the large wood burner and fire place ideal for winter bookings. The dining inside the property is for 6 people and is an attractive addition to the open plan living dining area. Next to the dining area is the kitchen with breakfast bar for 4 people, large fridge freezer, dishwasher, Nespresso coffee machine and all the equipment a modern kitchen could need. Adjacent to the kitchen is an office table and work space for guests who need to keep in touch with the work business even when on vacation. You move up a flight of stairs to the "tower bedroom" which is perfectly set up with 2 single beds for older children over the age of 10 years. All bedrooms benefit from air-conditioning. On the other side of the living room is a short passageway to the other 3 bedrooms and the family bathroom. The bedrooms are made up of a large master bedroom with en-suite walk in shower room, flat screen TV, hot and cold air-conditioning. The other 2 bedrooms are a twin and double with use of the shared family bathroom and both benefiting from hot and cold air-conditioning. The villa is available for a group of 8 people but no more than 6 adults over the age of 16 years due to the size of the tower bedroom. Directly across the road is a tennis court which is available for hire from Estrella Lodge and tennis rackets are provided free of charge at the villa for guest use. Golf: Within 5 minutes drive of the villa is La Sella Golf Club. The Olazabal designed La Sella Golf Course is near the village of Jesus Pobre. The course has 27 holes, par 72 and is 6,029 metres for 18 holes. The course although flat has many trees and water obstacles and presents a very good challenge. Facilities include: driving range, putting green, motorised trolleys, club bar, lounge bar, restaurant and swimming pool. These are provided free of charge for guest us. Javea golf club, between Moraira and Javea and is open all year round. The course is a 9 hole, par 72 and 3,035 metres. The course is easy to play and relatively flat. Other facilities include: driving range, putting green, heated swimming pool, club bar and restaurant.. Within a 30 minute drive north in Oliva is Oliva Nova Golf Club, designed by Seve Ballesteros. This testing course 18 holes, par 72 and 7,051 metres. The club has a shop, driving range, restaurant, swimming pool and fitness centre. Other areas to explore: Javea is made up of three areas, the Arenal with its beautiful sandy beach, bars and restaurants. During the summer evenings the Arenal is busy with crafts stalls, artists and musicians. The port area with its fish market and promenade and the old town with its narrow streets, shops, historic buildings. There is a colourful market every Thursday morning. 10k from Javea is the town and port of Denia with daily crossings to the Balearic islands. Denia boasts miles of sandy beaches with its tree lined streets, pavement cafes, bars and restaurants. The resort of Benidorm is only a 30 minutes drive away and close by is Terra Mitica, which is one of Europe's largest theme parks. Visit Aqualandia a themed water park and next door Mundomar with its dolphins, seals and parrots. A drive to Guadalest is a must with its quaint shops, narrow cobbled winding streets and spectacular views from the village square. Javea Town: Javea lies between pine-covered Cabo De La Nao to the South and Cabo De San Antonio to the North. The town is ideal for a family holiday, especially in the Spring when the area is ablaze with blossom from the almonds and the scents of orange and lemon trees fill the air. The World Health Organisation has proclaimed Javea to be ‘environmentally near perfect’ and you can bask in the Costa Blanca’s brightest sunshine here on about 320 days of the year. Javea town nestles at the foot of 2,500 feet Mount Montgo, a designated nature reserve. It boasts a 16th century church, covered market and for the historically minded a museum housing a nationally important collection of rare Iberian finds from Montgo. After exploring the town’s fascinating narrow streets you can make your way to the old fishing port about 1 mile away. To the south of the old town lies the Arenal beach, a broad crescent of fine golden sand backed by a promenade of shops and restaurants. La Guardia/Cabo De La Nao areas: Be sure to stop at the ‘Miradors’ (viewing points), several of which are located within a few minutes drive of Casa Mallandos. Without exception, they offer stunning views from cliff top perches of rocky coves and crystal clear water. This is snorkelling territory at its best, reminiscent of Cornwall but with guaranteed good weather! From Cabo De La Nao, it is possible on a clear day to see all the way to Ibiza 100 kms away. El chalet es precioso, bien equipado, lo que más se disfruta es la zona exterior; la piscina y la parrilla hacen que la estancia aquí sea estupenda. El propietario es amable y atiende a tus peticiones en lo que puede. Hay un supermercado a 1 kilómetro donde puedes encontrar lo imprescindible. El único problema que nos encontramos fue la limpieza de la casa, deja mucho que desear, se nota que no tienen contratado personal para realizar estas funciones. Obwohl wir erst mitten in der Nacht angereist sind, haben sie auf uns gewartet und uns alles gezeigt. Unsere Kinder haben sich sehr wohl gefühlt. Der Pool war phantastisch. Auf den Terrassen konnte man gut chillen. Das Fernsehen war leider nur in Englisch. Die Sauberkeit war leider nicht ganz optimal, aber ok. Die Türen zu den Zimmern gehen leider immer wieder auf. Nur von innen konnte man sie verriegeln. Leider führt die große Strasse direkt am Haus vorbei. Das ist etwas laut. Alles in allem war es trotzdem ein sehr schönes Anwesen. ##### Regine A. We arrived late in the evening, but were met & made very welcome by Neil, the owner, at the villa. He even provided a very welcome ‘welcome pack’. What a great start. Totally unexpected but just what was needed. Neil was on hand throughout the week, no issues with the villa, he provided golf clubs for a quick round at the club near The Marriott Hotel. The kitchen was stocked with some basics, always useful. Nice to have enough toilet rolls, washing up tabs etc, you don’t mind leaving your own surplus when it’s relaxed.... The location is ideal to explore rural & far less touristy Spain, Javea & Dernia a short drive, with lots of local restaurants. We will certainly return, still so much to see. ##### Sue H. We were two families of 2 adults and 2 children each. The property was as described and the outside space, with plenty of shade and room to eat and cook outside, was brilliant. The pool was large enough for kids to swim and play with floats and room around the pool for sun loungers. We had very hot weather during our stay and the upstairs room did get a little warm at night, so air conditioning would have been useful in this room. The other bedrooms were lovely and cool. The check in process was very easy, we were able to check in earlier on arrival as the hosts made every effort to get the villa ready for us which was very welcome as we'd had an early flight from the UK. We had a very friendly welcome and they provided us with some recommendations for restaurants and beaches nearby. Neil was available by phone to sort out a couple of small queries and visited the property a couple of times to check we were all okay. Great villa and we would thoroughly recommend it to large families or two families. The setting was beautiful and peaceful. The villa and pool was very clean and well maintained. The area itself is peaceful and very picturesque, and only a short drive into town. The villa was immaculate, modern, clean and full of all the amenities needed for a holiday. The location of the villa is outstanding and picturesque, looking at the surrounding mountains every morning was just perfect. We made great use of the bar the gas barbecue and the outside dining areas, perfect for outside dining. We all spent hrs in the pool and enjoyed it from sunrise to dusk.
