It's okay but definitely feels like it needs a refresh. The property has a "musty" smell (not sure how else to describe it) and the rooms are dated - the bathroom in particular. One thing we didn't realise is the view from the room window would be of the hotel interior overlooking the diner which felt a bit claustrophobic and a bit of a shame as we would have loved to have seen the beautiful scenery of Jasper. The hot tub was closed on the first day and the pool side was so drenched in water and slippery, I almost fell over a few times (I think it just needs someone to mop the area a bit more regularly) On the plus side, we did sleep well and it was fine for our needs as we were only there for two nights. If we were staying in Jasper for longer, we'd probably go elsewhere.

I liked our room but didn’t like the state that it was in. The shower glass would allow water to leak onto the floor. The sink drained excessively slow like it was plugged, and the tap was so loose that water was dripping into the cabinet below. The lighting was really tough to work with as well as the fact that there is no fan in the bathroom. The lobby really smelled of pool it was hard to handle. The spa was good but very interesting way of getting there

Our stay in Jasper was amazing! Jasper was beautiful and eveything was conveniently located in walking distance. The stay at Forest Hotel was great, comfortable beds, beautiful well kept facilities. My only complaint would be the mini fridge. It was more of a mini freezer, so my kombucha froze and exploded. But other than that, I would definitely stay there again.

First time in Jasper with the kids and it was a great spot. 10 mins or less to get to anything we needed to get to. With the 2 added on sections they could use another pool & hot tub because that was very full. Otherwise it was perfect for what we needed.

Mountains are gorgeous. Has an indoor connection between all buildings, makes the indoor pool access easy, unlike some other hotels in Jasper. A little bit further from town than other hotels, but it's fine if you don't mind walking twenty minutes to town. Often can find elk outside the hotel grazing on the grounds. Restaurants are both good. Recommend the Wellington.

Stayed in the new part. Room was very clean and modern. The Kleenex and toilet paper is the worst though, definitely need to upgrade that! Pretty rough. Liked that even though we were in the furthest building from the pool, the pathways upstairs connect all the buildings so we didn’t have to go outside to get to the pool. Nice fire place areas outside and in different buildings to relax outside of your room.

Everything was excellent. Our timing was off, it was spring break for kids in Alberta, so it wasn't the quietest of stays. But it wasn't the hotel's fault, just bad parents. Lol Our fridge in the room wasn't working, it was replaced within a few hours of check in Super friendly Great place to stay

Went with the family for a little trip. We were in the older (cheaper) side. It’s showing its age, the shower was either scalding hot or freezing cold. Carpets were pretty gross. Found some random hairs on the pillows. Not the worst place I’ve stayed, but below average for what you pay.

The only real hotel in jasper. Enjoyed the pool, hottub and steam room. Didn’t try the restaurants in-house. This hotel is a 15 minute walk to the main area of Jasper. Or just a few minute drive. Lots of free parking at hotel
