From the moment we arrived, we were amazed by the breathtaking mountain views and peaceful setting. The cabin itself is stunning and looks like it belongs in the pages of Architectural Digest, House Beautiful, or Veranda. Every detail feels thoughtful and of very high quality, from the comfortable bedding to the well stocked kitchen and beautiful amenities.After long days of hiking, relaxing in the hot tub while watching the sunset was pure perfection. At night, the sky was filled with stars, and it felt like we were in another world. This cabin is perfect for a romantic getaway, a family retreat, or a fun trip with friends. It truly offers something for everyone.Melissa, the host, was wonderful. She was kind, polite, and easy to reach anytime we had a question. Her warmth made the stay feel even more special.We cannot recommend Higher Ground enough. It is one of those rare places that feels like home the moment you arrive and leaves you already dreaming of your next visit. I almost want to give a bad review so it will not be booked the next time we want to stay, lol. But I could never do that to the owners and host, who have clearly gone above and beyond to make this place truly exceptional. We have stayed at hundreds of places during our travels, and I do not write this review lightly.
