It was amazing to be surrounded by beautiful mountains and a gorgeous lake. We loved the pool and hot tub area. The spa was so relaxing and professional. Although the room was clean and nice, the walls were thin and we could hear all conversations and noises happening in the rooms beside us.

We got a good deal booking through here but seeing the $1100 price tag attached to these “cabins” in July is laughable. Spend your money in town and stay in a hotel there. “Rustic” doesn’t even begin to describe what you will be experiencing. The curtains are so old, they are pilling and look like a cat was shredding them. The fridges don’t keep anything cold. And when you see the cleaning staff walking around with a pail and what appears to be a rag and a spray bottle, it doesn’t give you the feeling of wanting to drink out of the glasses or anything really. The phones in the 100 cabins apparently don’t work. Upon arrival we were told a “ticket” would be made and the phone would be fixed. After a medical emergency and spotty cell reception I had to call the ambulance from my room as my mother’s cabins didn’t work. Her friend was later flown to the city to a hospital with a life threatening condition. Not cool. And called for valet, no one showed up so I drove my car to the front. The bellman accepted a tip to “park” my car. When we returned for dinner I was surprised to see my car in the same spot. When I inquired what was going on it was explained to me that they leave cars at the front when it’s not busy. Which is fine but why accept the tip?!?! The food was meh at best and be prepared to take out a second mortgage if you like wine…. $32 for a glass of mediocre Tom Gore is laughable. You aren’t an isolated island so upcharging like that isn’t necessary.

Beautiful property in the middle of the Alberta Rocky Mountains Pricey, even when they clearly are at low capacity Staff good for most part. Clear that some are focused on tips. Great entertainment in the evening

We had an amazing time at the JPL. We had a chance to really relax and enjoy the beautiful setting. The staff were friendly and efficient. The spa was incredible - I was fortunate to go on 2 separate days. We wished we could have stayed longer. Our only complaint was that the heat in our room could not be shut off and we needed to sleep with the window open during our stay.

JPL is a great property with much to do. Service was friendly and often exceptional. The special family activities for spring break/Easter were much appreciated. We stayed in a renovated room which was great. There were limited dining options on site for people with dietary restrictions. However, Jasper town is only a short drive away.

Parking is very inconvenient at this property. All spaces where we were supposed to park were full and we had to walk 15 min from the parking lot to our place. Place was great but also not as advertised in the photos. The food at the lodge was poor quality for the price. Go and eat in Jasper and pay 1/2 price

Parking is very far from rooms. Rooms have thin walls and thus is noisy. Paint is peeling. No desk space in rooms. Very expensive cost for the quality of the stay. I highly discourage staying here.

We’ve stayed at this property several times and it’s always so lovely. We love Jasper! The lodge is beautiful - my only issue was the lounge on Saturday afternoon, we almost left as it took a super long time to get service. We also saw another couple get up and leave during this time as no one had served them and it seemed as though there was an abundance of wait staff just hanging around. We went back in the evening for a drink and sat at the bar and had great service at that time. Other than that, it was great as usual.

Absolutely amazing stay! It was magical. The staff (especially Aasmeet and Bee at the front desk, and Katherine and Gina who served us at the bar and restaurant!) made us feel completely at ease. The outdoor pool and hot tub were also huge highlights! We will be back! Thank you!

JPL is composed of dozens of cabins and single story multiplexes arrayed about a gracious central lodge. As it was winter when we visited, it was all very quiet. In summer I imagine it bustles like a Pocono resort, although with real mountains at which to gaze. We paid extra to get a lakefront room that turned out to have a peekaboo lake view. Our friends paid somewhat less for a room at least half again larger. While the lodge was nice, dining was on the spendy side. One oddity was that no morning coffee was available in the lobby without descending to the basement coffee shop and waiting for a barista to brew drinks for staff members, including the executive chef. Recommend restaurants Syrah and especially Raven Bistro in Jasper for delicious dinners at reasonable prices.

We love this place, it's one of our favourites. Our only complaint was the food menu was disappointingly small and the ribs we had were tough and dry and we sent them back. The wings and mac n cheese were amazing.

This is more than a hotel stay, its an experience! We had a great stay. The activities were fantastic, there was always something to do. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. Room was clean, and spacious.

We liked the grounds and the pool. Since we were traveling with two animals, we changed accommodation and found a larger accommodation better. The toilet wasn't clean, the house phone didn't work at all and the rooms also needed to be renovated. We were very disappointed with the food. After a very long wait we found a very long hair in our starters and the main course was very dry, not seasoned, everything didn't seem appetizing, the fish, meat and side dishes were simply warmed up in the microwave... so we left the restaurant without dessert, which was then brought to the accommodation. Our criticism was taken very seriously and attempts were made to accommodate us.

Stay was amazing, we were totally looked after. I didnt like the price of the food in the great hall for the quality of it but other than that i have no complaints. The staff was amazing, amazing, amazing!
