"Stayed Fri-Sun to participate in a weekend bass tournament on the lake. This house/property was perfect. The house backs up to a canal/bayou, which we learned is one of the best areas around the lake to fish. We were able to launch the boat from a ramp about 1/4 mile away and kept it tied up and safe at the house. Didn’t spend much time inside the house, but the time spent was nice. House was very clean and the bed(s) were very comfortable. If this property is still listed next, I will book it...

"We had a great stay at Bikini bottom on false river. The property was as described in the listing, Claire was on the ball with communication via text. Check in/out was a breeze. What a great view of the lake from the awesome deck/dock. Just an excellent stay which was out of the way of the chaos of LSU campus. Very peaceful. We hope to stay here again the next time we visit our Tiger!"

"Had a nice stay to visit family. More family decided to stay last minute and host was appreciative of the notice. Communication was good. It is a quiet place to stay- we loved birding on the bridge in the morning. Appliances worked well and everything was clean. Would stay there again!"

"It’s an old house. It’s not a 5 star hotel. My wife and I enjoyed the stay. We booked a last minute getaway for the weekend to relax. She likes old houses and when we looked at it, it was what she was looking for."

"Clean home, with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The home is recently updated, and they did a great job keeping original features that make this classic Garden District home so charming! Easy check-in, convenient location, with plenty of little guest friendly touches (makeup wipes, coffee aplenty, fans in each bedroom). My husband and I shared the rental with friends, and we kept talking about how nice the place is!"

"We rented to attend an engagement party. We had adult children and grandchildren staying with us. The home was spacious and clean. The furniture was up to date and the beds were firm but comfortable. We loved the dock and BBQ grill. We had a great time."

"The neighborhood this house is technically a part of is pretty run down. However, the house is on a main street, there are cameras on the property, and I did not feel unsafe at all. If you are not familiar with where you are going, you might be concerned at first sight. For us, it was convenient to LSU and we were there for a conference, so out of the house all day. It served our purpose well. The towels were a little disappointing. Just a few more dollars on some better quality linens would go...
