"The hotel was a big disappointment. We stayed here for 1 night and had booked 3 rooms. There was no ventilation in the rooms and all the rooms were smelly. There were also cockroaches in the rooms. When we complained no action was taken. The hotel is family run and the hotel staff is highly unprofessional. The hotel also refused to accept credit card payment and we had to run around for an ATM. All in all for the hefty price we paid - this hotel was a big rip off."

"We arrived at Andaman Castle on the recommendation of friends and booked a delux room. Firstly we were told we had no booking, then we were told that he had not booked the half board. "Overall, the stay was good and the hotel is a nice place to stay. We tried both the veg and non-veg lunch thali at ITC, and both were very good. However, there were a couple of disappointing aspects. During checkout, no staff came to assist us with the luggage even after we waited for around 10 minutes, so we had to manage it ourselves. The morning breakfast buffet was also quite disappointing. Most of the food seemed to have been prepared or kept out for some time, and almost everything we tried was cold. A hotel of this standard should definitely ensure that buffet items are served fresh and at the proper temperature. The stay and lunch were good overall, but the breakfast quality and checkout service could be improved considerably."
