Expansive lake views and the peace and quiet you’ve been looking for! Whether you want to gather with the family around the large kitchen island for a meal or sit on the back patio and enjoy a cup of coffee while gazing at Shawnee Lake which is a wonderful private lake located in Jamestown. The property is 4 mins from Miami Valley hospital, 16 mins from Cedarville University, and 26 mins from Yellow Springs. We spent most of our time on the wonderful outdoor furniture, talking, eating and watching the boats on the lake. It was very relaxing and met our expectations. The layout of the house is open and inviting. There are 2 bedrooms upstairs that share one bathroom and a bedroom on the main floor that has its own en-suite bathroom. I mention this because it is nice to know that one bath would need to be shared, so plan accordingly. The beds were a little uncomfortable and the pillows could be updated. It is a “lake” house so I wasn’t expecting it to be as updated as it was. The kitchen was nice with a large industrial size refrigerator. There are minimal restaurants in the area. I would suggest grocery shopping while in a major metropolitan area and plan on making most meals at the VRBO. It is perfect for a relaxing trip. We did not take out the kayaks, though they are available in the garage. ##### Michele W.
