Room said non smoking however reeked of smoke. The carpet was not vacuumed except down the centre and there were dark hairs in the tub and toiletries basket. The pool was large and warm and enjoyable. But the outdoor walkways were needing a good sweep and hose down on the upper level

What you need. Nothing more.

Good stay for the money. No elevator, so be sure to request first floor if stairs are an issue. Very basic. Don't expect anything fancy.

Surface on room & bathroom cabinets were new stone surfaces. Bed was reasonably comfortable. Door handle to bathroom was hanging off the door & inoperable. The shower had no apparent adjustment for hold or cold water & when mention to front desk, their answer was it can be adjusted but it's complicated. Breakfast room was dirty appearing and toasters didn't work consistent off extension cord.

It's not bad

It's a nice little motel with a small swimming pool. Room was clean. Breakfast is ok. A little pricy for what you get, but the Lucy Museum draws folks, so I guess that is why it is $100 a night. I'd stay here again.

Nice hotel, convenient location

Room was clean but did smell a little musty. Staff was nice but not overly friendly. The location was convenient for shopping and not too far from surrounding attractions. The WiFi was quite good. Beds were comfortable. Wasn't bad for a couple nights.

We stayed during the Lucyfest so all lodging was at a premium so the normal price doubled. It was a clean motel with very nice staff. But don’t expect a top end hotel. I would definitely go back, but I know what to expect. A good place to stay that is near everything.

Few tweaks would make a big difference.

Beds were comfortable. Pool looked clean. We wished we had time to get in but our schedule did not allow for it. We did notice that the room had a distinct odor each time we entered over the weekend so cleaning or scented measures need to be stepped up. The doorknob locked but the deadbolt didn't work.

Charming updated hometown motel; pet friendly

Very accommodating given we had a small dog with us. Nice staff. Great location close to attractions, restaurants, lake, dog park. Suggest improving continental breakfast by adding muffins and Danish to cereal, waffles, bagels and English muffins choices. Larger paper/cardboard coffee cups would be appreciated as well.

Overall not bad, but the next door persons clock radio woke me at 6am, it wasn't terribly loud but I could hear it through the wall and it played for an hour. I think maybe there could be more sound proofing. Even though there was continental breakfast, there wasn't a coffee pot or Kurig in the room. I didn't see a hair dryer or iron either.

I was in town for a fishing trip. The close proximity to the boat ramp and the price were nice. There was room to park your truck and boat. Also, there were electrical outlets conveinently placed for charging boat batteries

as my partner and i have been traveling across the country we've stayed at 5 motels / hotels. Sadly this was the most expensive one we paid for and the least clean. However, the staff at the front desk, when we checked in late at night, was incredibly helpful, personable, and kind. We're very appreciative of that. But in the room, the carpet was very dirty, the room smelled damp and like cigarettes, all the surfaces seemed to have stains of some sort, the bathroom was, sadly, in such condition that we chose not to use it. I don't think it would have been a bother if it wasn't the most expensive room we paid for on the trip.
