Lux Condo w/Views, Htd Pool, Beach, Golf Cart, Pickleball Recently featured on HGTV's “Bahamas Life", "Entre-deux-Mers" (unit 2D at the Buttonwood Reserve Oceanfront Condominium Resort) offers a full-surround two-ocean view, facing west over the Caribbean for the sunset and east to the Atlantic for the sunrise. Enjoy stunning ocean views from every room through the eight-foot glass sliders and six-foot bay windows in this spectacular luxury condo. The expansive private decks also feature spectacular sea views in every direction. Buttonwood Reserve has access to two beaches. On the Atlantic side is a world-class, 3-mile-long pink-sand beach, pristine without a single house. It is accessed via our private, golf-carts only driveway. All condominiums at Buttonwood come with access to a fleet of golf carts at no charge. On the Caribbean side of our property, almost in your front yard, is a second beach. This beach is small and rather rocky, so not so aesthetic, but the water is as calm as a lake and this shore is perfect for snorkeling, kayaking, paddle boarding, and fishing. Our resort-style pool is just steps from your condominium. This beautiful landscaped pool is heated for comfortable swimming year round. Near the pool is our grilling area, outfitted with propane grills for your use. Grill burgers while enjoying a relaxing day at the pool, or cook up the day's fresh catch from a fishing adventure. We just completed a new pickleball court! Our mini-gym is equipped with a multifunction smith machine cage with precision linear bearings, an Olympic weight rack, dip station, and a cable routed pulley system. Guests also have access to dumbbells and a fitness/yoga mat. This is an open-air gym (fully roofed and with three walls). The professionally decorated interior of this vacation rental is elegantly furnished, modern, warm and comfortable. The east end of the great room features a modern, open-plan, luxurious kitchen finished in stainless steel and black granite, and equipped with everything you need to prepare meals. The kitchen, dining area, and living room have magnificent ocean views in every direction, with water sparkling as far as the eye can see. The master bedroom features a large upholstered window seat with magnificent panoramic views of the Caribbean, a perfect spot to relax with a book or morning coffee, or watch the sunset over the sea. The master is furnished with a king bed, and luxury linens and is equipped with an en-suite full bath. The master has a private door leading to the deck over the Caribbean. The guest bedroom also features a large window seat with a spectacular view, this one overlooking the Atlantic. The bedroom has a full en-suite bath (which can be accessed from the hall as well). It is furnished with twin beds that can be converted into a king. Additionally, the living room sofa pulls out to a comfortable queen-size bed. Buttonwood Reserve comes with kayaks and a paddle board for use on the sea or in our pond. Bicycles are also provided. Other amenities include AC throughout, ceiling fans, and superfast Starlink WIFI. To ensure uninterrupted power, Buttonwood has a full solar array, back-up batteries to power the entire property, and a connection to the grid in case we ever need it. Buttonwood Reserve is a 10 minute walk from three restaurants: Delish, Leorose Sunset Beach Bar and Grill, and Mel's Snack Shack. Just a mile from Buttonwood Reserve is the village of James Cistern, which has three grocery stores, a town dock where the fisherman bring their catch every day, a produce stand, and Kel D's sports bar. James Cistern is also the home of Stubb's famous barbecue, now called Tamarind Tree Grill, every Friday and Saturday, which is not to be missed. Buttonwood Reserve is an easy 15-minute drive from Governor's Harbour, the main town on the island. Governor's Harbour has a charming collection of 19th century homes and churches overlooking its historic harbor. The accommodations were very nice and clean. We had the assistance we needed from the host. Most of our time was spent exploring the island and the beaches but the time we did spend at the property was great. The island is less developed than other islands we have been to. It is lacking in nice restaurants and grocery stores but the isolated beaches and water were amazing. We ended up make most of our meals back at the condo. We did make a trip to Harbor island one day and enjoyed the nicer restaurants and the Pink Sand Beach. ##### Aaron O. I enjoyed my stay so much that I have already re-booked for November 2017\. While temperatures were in the 20's and teens at home, I was sitting out on my condo deck looking out to the Caribbean's beautiful blue waters in temps of upper 70's. And when I got tired of looking out to the Caribbean, I'd merely change decks and look out onto the Atlantic. Such wonderful energy being between two beautiful bodies of water. It was truly hard to leave the beautiful condo but the island is a must see. And this is an owner that cares about their customers. Your satisfaction is very important to them and they work hard to make sure your stay is all that you expect it to be. I cannot wait for Nov 2017 to get here so I can visit again. But this time I intend to spend more time in the condo soaking up the views. Oh, and being someone that works on the road and WiFi is paramount, I must say it was refreshing to have a great internet connection my entire week stay. Thanks to all that had a hand in making my stay a wonderful one in celebrating my 60th birthday. I look forward to seeing you all again. ##### CJ H. It had all of the amenities that you could possibly need. The condo was clean and very comfortable. All of the information we received from the owners was extremely helpful when planning our activities. The location was great for exploring the island. You absolutely need a vehicle and if you want to visit Lighthouse Beach at the southern tip, you will need an SUV. Everyone was very friendly and helpful when asking for directions. We ate at several restaurants in different settlements and were pleased with the food. They also have a good variety so if you want a nice, elegant meal you can get one and you can also get conch salad on the side of the road. Our experience was great. The staff was Wonderfull and the buttonwood condo was excellent. The beach was beautiful and the weather great as well. ( I think my wife ordered that also. ) Could not have had a better time on my birthday. Both of us would recommend buttonwood to anyone considering a trip to the island. The condo and all amenities is as advertised. We Kayaked to one of the islands, Bicycled to a local store and took the Golf Cart almost every day to the beach on other side of the island.
