"Location is good, staff is friendly, rooms are laid out well. Furniture and furnishings aren’t quite as nice as other hotels in the price range I’ve stayed in. Beds are on the firm side. Did not receive any cleaning or maid services during my 3 night stay. Only hotel I have ever stayed in that requires you to wash your own dishes or pay a $150 fee for any unwashed dishes - felt a bit like an Airbnb cleaning fee to me."

"We stayed at the west wing which has not been renovated yet. But, the room was very clean and charming (not as outdated as others wrote in their reviews). I was pleasantly surprised to see that each room had a balcony with city or bay view. The staff were very polite and professional and the restaurant served delicious entrees. We will definitely come back to this hotel again. "

"The hotel is in a very convenient location as it is very close to the tourist spots. The staff were very nice and helpful. Our room was kept very clean. Our only concern is that the property seems to be a bit old, so it has a funky smell. We had to open the window for a bit upon entering the room to get rid of the smell. Other than that, we had a very amazing experience. "
