The hostel café is very good too, it’s possible to get breakfast all day and just down the street is an excellent warung with plenty of vegetarian options (which is rare). The service was great - the staff helped me book Grabs, let me keep my big bag over the day and had good tips on how to get around Jakarta. It's a great place to get to know local people and I instantly was adopted into the family, taken round the city and invited to hang out.
