Enjoyed my stay here. Been here a couple of times. Love how grand the room and hotel is although the room rate & price might be on a pricier side as compared to other hotels in Jakarta.

Its not only old from the outside but from the inside too, i took a suite and regret it so much and moved to another hotel the next day

The hotel is fairly old and the room had a musty smell. Bedding and pillow also did not have the usual freshly laundered scent you would expect from a hotel.

Great location! Good wifi! Great Breakfast
The hotel is right in middle of City Near Jalan Sudiraman and Jalan Gatot Subroto. It is one of the best places to stay if you are there on a business trip. They have a fitness center and spa too. Though I stayed their for a day, I used the spa and that was good. The bedding though was not that comfortable. The wifi was awesome and I could make VoIP call without being interrupted or facing any lag. The breakfast was awesome, very nice spread. Indian, Chinese, Japanese, Vegetarian, eggs and tropical fruits. The cost per night though is bit on a higher side. If I get a better deal, I would stay here again.

Central location
The hotel is quite centrally located, with the Sudirman business district located right across the main road. The hotel staff was very friendly, and eventhough some of the facilities are a bit dated, the hotel was generally very clean. The breakfast spread is quite decent, with the cheesy omelette and the breaded chicken being some of my favourites during my two nights stay here. Should you need to get anything, the Plaza Semanggi mall is located just two buildings away. Wouldn’t mind staying here again during my next trip to Jakarta.

Strategic place to move within Jakarta but...
I've stayed at this hotel 10 years ago. Last weekend..I wet back to stay here. Staff are all very friendly as usual..unfortunately this hotel in dire need to refurbish their hotel room including bed, TV and bathroom..it's still using a boxy TV with poor reception..toilet and bathtub need to be changed urgently..it's ts still working but you feel that you are living in the 80s

conditions of the room.
Room facilities should be check and to be replace professionally & not fit unprofessionally. Things like, bulbs, toilet phone hook, shower heater not working properly as the tape control is not function well. When call the repairman & they don't repair it properly & professionally. Hence, it still not working well. I took 3-4 rooms with friends & quite embarrassing as paying rate for the class which is consider high.

Though I reserved the non-smoking room, but I was let in the smoking room. Because I can not speek English well, I could not ask the hotel clark to change the room. And tap water was brown by rust. Too bad.
