Definitely an older building, but fairly well kept. Clean. Had a comfortable stay. Staff was welcoming. A short walk from city shops and restaurants and other attractions. Beware that the brick and patterned sidewalks of Jaen make walking with roller luggage a bit of a challenge, but taxis are abundant and reasonably priced.

Nice hotel but not the food.
The hotel was great and very friendly. Loved having a bath. The done side was the food in the hotel was very poor.

Dated and disappointing
Check in & staff welcoming was pleasant. Parking in underground carpark was good, had easy access & well signed. Hotel however was dated, booked double room & got two single beds (bedding as two singles) pushed together. Also mattress and pillows uncomfortable. We’re going eat at hotel but nothing available.

Friendly staff. Clean. Only complaint was the heat. AC worked one night then no more. I think it’s too early and not hot enough for Spaniards to use AC. 😬

The property is located at the entrance to the town but walking distance to everything. We were very tired but the staff allowed us to check in early so we could rest. There is a restaurant on site and a bar where we were able to have a bite before checking in. The waiting area is very confortable. Overall an excellent place to spend a few days.

The hotel advertises a pool, which was closed. This was tremendously disappointing because that weekend it was extremely hot in Jaén (around100 F) and we were dreaming of having the first splash of the summer. They also advertise a "full gym". The gym was nothing but disappointing as well: a small room without AC and no water fountain. There were three stationary bikes, one treadmill, and a couple of machines more. One of the bikes didn´t even work as it was impossible to switch it on. We picked the hotel because of the amenities that were attractive to us, even though we knew it was extremely far for the center of town, but we ended up being disappointed that none of these amenities were as advertised.

Comfortable and well-appointed hotel
The room was spacious, clean, quiet and very comfortable. The hotel and room were beautifully decorated with ornate furniture. All hotel staff were very helpful and the buffet breakfast had a great assortment. Although it did not worry us, it was a 25 minute walk to the city centre. Or the local bus fare was 1 euro.

Hotel needs some updating. Rooms are large which is nice. Staff were rather busy and not the most helpful, specially when asking for information about the city, transportation, but were very accommodating when I had to chance my reservations and leave earlier than planned.

First visit to Jaen and we thoroughly enjoyed it! Would definitely return and stay in the same hotel. Clean, tidy and friendly.

Hotel not central
Hotel is about a 30 minute uphill walk to the centre of the city along a very busy and noisy street. There is nothing around the hotel and it is located in a depressed area of Jaen. A lot of graffiti and closed shops. While the beds were very comfortable , there was a strong sewer smell from the bathroom. Disgusting! We had to keep the bedroom window open. The hotel was quite noisy with people talking in rooms all around us and banging wooden doors. Staff was friendly.

Nice folks at check in. A bit of a tired hotel. Fine, but aging. Due to design of the hotel, all rooms are off of the multi-story lobby atrium... which means noise. Bed was hard and scratchy, but usual for Spain. Bathroom was spacious.

Modern twist to old Spain.
Beautiful hotel, located on the main route into the city, it has very friendly staff who were ever helpful. The city centre was vibrant and busy and very easy to access. A street festival was on when we visited and the cafes and bars were thronged with girls in flamenco dresses dancing together.

Nice hotel, good vale but a distance from centre
Very nice hotel with good size rooms, friendly staff and good parking. Only criticism was distance from the old town centre where the cafés and restaurants are. Too far to walk in heat of Jaen but taxis cheap.

The drive down the parking lot, was a bit nerve wrecking, because of its narrowness & it being two ways! that's the only sort of negative comment about our experience there. We loved the decor of the lobby and the room. The room was huge, with a sitting room and spacious bathroom, excellently decorated. The location could not be better, proximity to excellent restaurants and shopping. They offered free wifi & the parking charge was very reasonable. The room as well as hallways and lobby were immaculate. The staff super friendly & very helpful. We would definitely recommend it & would stay there again!

Decent but not exceptional
This hotel has the benefit of being easy to find. It is a decent large hotel with well trained staff. The rooms have all of what you need but are a bit old fashioned and not especially comfortable. Good points were free wifi hurrah this should be standard in all hotels and safe parking.
