This condo is absolutely beautiful, the view from the balcony is gorgeous. My husband and i loved laying on the hammocks and just enjoying the breeze and the sound of the ocean. The security guard was able to assist us after 30 minutes of attempting to communicate with the host. The building had per-scheduled pipe/water maintenance and the property host still allowed the property to be booked. The water was off for a day in half. We requested to be relocated to a different property due to the lack of water and it took several hours to be relocated. The on-site staff are friendly efficient! However, be aware that the adjacent property is Jaco VIP - Serenity Point party house. We were scheduled to stay 4 weeks but requested and were granted a move to a different condo in Jaco after 2 weeks. During the 2 weeks we were at Breakwater there were only 3 days and nights that the VIP property was not in full volume, often until 4:00 am. Activities included loud music, foul language and local “ladies of the night” who are legal in Costa Rica. All activities were poolside and clearly visible from Breakwater balconies. Not the best environment for families or those looking for a relaxing vacation! Requests to police were ignored. ##### Howard B.
