Smart household with Amazon Alexa, Nest thermostat, Smart Lock, Fire Stick TV, etc. 72" TV with Netflix, HBO, ESPN, TNT, antenna cable, etc. 48” TV in master bedroom with Netflix, HBO, ESPN, TNT, etc. Pet friendly!! Gated yard as well. The house is an old Florida beach duplex that has been revitalized. Remodeled bathrooms, new floors, etc. All travelers welcome! The house is an old Florida beach home built in the 60s. I have renovated where necessary but have tried to keep as much as the old beach home vibe as I can. The space is a cozy 2/2 with private entrance & plenty of parking. Extremely comfortable leather couch and recliner chair with a massive TV! The sunroom has a washer and dryer that is available for use. The front yard can be gated completely (very helpful for dog owners). The guests have access to everything in the house. Parking for 2 vehicles in the driveway and can fit 2 vehicles on the street. I am extremely social & love meeting new people, so if you have any questions about the city or anything, I am happy to help. I try to be a quick to respond as I can. I try to keep all communications within the AirBnB app but I am available by phone for any questions or help as well. The neighborhood is extremely laid back. It is very safe and quiet. There is only local traffic on the street. In Jax Beach, bikers have the right away at all times and there are a lot of us! You will see several people riding around on bicycles, especially on the weekend. I highly recommend riding bikes if possible, its the way to go! Parking can be difficult at times at Jax & Atlantic Beach but it is possible. Or you can park anywhere for $5. There is also a free ride service called “Beachside Buggies”. You can download their app and get free rides to anywhere in Atlantic, Neptune, and Jax beach. This is how I get around and it is amazing. Not only is it free but it supports local business. Just remember to tip your drivers! There is a lawn service that is performed every Monday. There may be noise between 9 am - 2 pm on Mondays. CANCELLATION POLICY: There is a 5% cancellation fee for all bookings to cover processing fees. We ask that you wash all dishes (sink or dishwasher) before leaving. No need to make the bed or anything as I will wash all the sheets anyways. Please try your hardest to not track sand into the house (it’s very hard I know). There is a bathroom accessible from the sunroom that can be used to rinse off before entering the rest of the house. If you move any furniture, please move back before leaving. The cleaners have a hard time moving the heavy furniture back into place. My doodles loved being able to run. Home was clean and well kept and stocked. Easily walk Distance to most places, Water gets superHot which is always good. Beds are comfy. Perfect for our weekend needs to go see the rodeo!The only thing I would note for the owners may be to call an exterminator as we did see quite a bunch of water bugs. (Main bath and cook top/stove in kitchen)x I live in Florida and know it happens but would be a good idea to have someone come in. We came so that I could have back surgery at the Mayo, and this place had the best combination of comfortable chairs and a short walk to the beach. Truly, all the other VRBO options we saw had furniture that appeared to be chosen for looks rather than usability. We walked to the beach every day pre-surgery, and I was grateful for the comfortable chairs both before and after the surgery. Everything else was normal and pleasant for a VRBO. The floors do have a little bit of a crackly noise when walking on them. The only way I can imagine this being a problem is if one person is trying to focus while teleworking while others in the household are pacing around. The neighborhood is very quiet. Both showers have showerheads that were a few inches above our 6' heads, so no ducking was necessary. I look forward to returning. We did a fair bit of teleworking at the desk and it was a comfortable setup (I brought along a lightweight portable monitor that makes it much easier.). Many small thoughtful touches. ##### Jodi N.
