Just Steps from Pool and Ocean! A gorgeous, high-end Turtle Dunes villa on the ground floor for easy access to the beach and pool! This wonderful retreat in the gated Amelia Island Plantation has been nicely renovated and thoughtfully furnished with sophisticated comfort in mind. The attention to detail is obvious in this stunning villa! The kitchen has beautiful granite countertops and stainless steel appliances. The living area and both bedrooms have fantastic views of the ocean. The main bedroom has king bed and nice attached full bathroom, complete with soaking tub. The second bedroom has been cleverly designed to accommodate a larger family, with a queen bed AND a single daybed with trundle. This two-bedroom villa can comfortably sleep six people. This villa's location could not be more perfect. The beach and complex pool are literally just a few steps from your back patio! We've also stocked the villa with everything you'll need for a wonderful stay, including starter supplies and beach/pool towels. When you're ready to explore, the larger Amelia Island Plantation (AIP) community is a beloved 1,340-acre paradise that is surrounded by maritime forests, tidal salt marshes and pristine, sandy beaches. Dining, shopping, and spa services are offered at the Omni Amelia Island Resort, located within the AIP. Golf is available within the AIP at Oak Marsh and Little Sandy, as well as multiple other great courses on the island. Tee times can be scheduled online. Nearby, bike and golf carts can be rented to explore the larger community and venture to AIP playgrounds like Drummond Park and Aury Island. Many of our guests enjoy strolling on the beach or along the AIP's miles of shaded walking and biking trails. For those looking to adventure further afield, the scenic drive north on A1A will take you to the charming Fernandina Beach Historic District, where you can find unique boutiques, shops and dining options. Drive south on A1A to visit coastal nature preserves like Little Talbot Island State Park, known for easy biking, hiking and birding opportunities. Both of the bedrooms and the main living area had ocean views, where we were able to watch the sunrise from either indoors or on the patio. Our favorite part was that it had a beautiful green lawn next to the patio where our 7 year old played every day, and it was only steps to the beach. The location is great- at the south end of the Omni Plantation. The first floor patio allowed easy access to the grass lawn , and yet just steps away from the beach. It felt private, unlike a lot of 1st floor units. The pool was very close too. We were able to ride bikes on paths shaded by live oak trees. Loved having the ground floor which gave us more room . Everything was very nice. We suggest that the toilets be replaced with adult size seating. The “child size” isn’t the best to use. The furniture looks comfy but after an hour our butts were sore. (We realize that this sounds nit-picky). We hope to rent this unit again in the fall. ##### Robert N.
