1844 Turtle Dunes is perfect for a family vacation or a couple looking to get away! Designed to be practical and beautiful, the oceanfront condo is equipped with everything a modern traveler would need, including high speed WiFi and TVs in the living room and both bedrooms.

With a king bed in the main suite and two twin beds in the second bedroom, there are sleeping accommodations for four. Both full bathrooms are nicely updated and stocked with bath linens.

The kitchen, which overlooks the living area and the amazing ocean views, is fully equipped with appliances, cooking utensils, silverware, glassware, placeware, and so on. Guests can enjoy mealtime at the dining table, which seats four.

Time to take a swim? This property provides access to the beautiful and spacious Sea Turtle shared pool, which is seasonally heated. The property also awards entry to the Dunes Club tennis courts.

In front and behind the Turtle Dunes complex, guests can access the many walking trails in the Amelia Island Plantation (AIP.) These picturesque trails wind through the oceanside and marshside of the gated resort. The AIP community is a beloved 1,340-acre paradise that is surrounded by maritime forests, tidal salt marshes and pristine, sandy beaches. Dining, shopping, and spa services are offered at the Omni Amelia Island Resort, located within the AIP.

Golf is also available within the AIP at Oak Marsh and Little Sandy, as well as multiple other great courses on the island. Tee times can be scheduled online.

Nearby, bike and golf carts can be rented to explore the larger community and venture to community playgrounds like Drummond Park and Aury Island.

Historic Downtown Fernandina Beach is a 20-minute drive north on the island and has fantastic dining and shopping options. Driving south on A1A will take you to the Talbot Islands, wonderful nature preserves known for gentle hiking and excellent birding opportunities.
