Come stay in our recently updated family-friendly, 5 bedroom, 4 bathroom oceanfront home, which comfortably sleeps 13\. Literally steps away from the community pool and the beach, you have easy access to both and can watch your kids play from any of your three oceanfront decks or from your own private hot tub. For guests with limited mobility, we have elevator access to the 1st floor living and sleeping areas. (Elevator only goes up to main level on the first floor) This home is a Townhouse/Duplex. The pool is a Villas By The Sea community pool maintained by the HOA. Our community pool is open Apr 1 - Oct 31 and is now heated to approximately 80°F (weather permitting) in April, May, September, and October for your enjoyment. Pool hours are 10 am until dusk. Hauling your gear to the first floor is easy using your private elevator. On the first floor, you'll find a fully equipped kitchen, a first floor bedroom (King) with adjoining bath for any guests with limited mobility, and a spacious great room and dining area that comfortably sits 10. On the second floor, you'll find one room equipped with two twin bunk beds with a twin trundle, a master suite (King) with private bath and oceanfront deck, and a cheerful bedroom (Queen) with oceanfront deck. The queen and bunk rooms share a bathroom. All king and queen mattresses new summer 2024. The third floor offers the luxurious owner's retreat (King) with an entire floor dedicated to you and yours, with ocean view and a full bath with walk-in shower and a private furnished deck. WiFi internet access is available in this home. We have a high chair, pack n play, and LOTS of beach/pool toys! Everything is a short stroll from here - a one-minute walk takes you to the SeaView fishing pier, or the Splash By The Sea restaurant at Villa Capriani. Just down the street there is the town recreation park which has a playground, lighted tennis courts, volleyball court and basketball courts. North Shore Country Club, the area's premier 4-star rated golf course is 5 minutes away by car and is one of Golf Digest's “Best Places to Play” 2008-2009\. If you're feeling more adventurous, visit the USS North Carolina Battleship in Wilmington (35 miles south) or the North Carolina Aquarium in Pine Knoll Shores (35 miles north). For more information, see the packed information guide in our home. Come see why so many people come back each year to this same property! Fresh linens & bath towels are provided by a linen service. A required linen fee applies. Beds are not made prior to arrival. We do not provide beach towels. We make sure there is toilet paper in each bathroom, and bags in the trash cans to start you off. We provide an amenity starter package with a roll of paper towels, two rolls of toilet paper, small bottles of dish soap, hand soap, lotion, etc., and coffee packet for one pot. We do not provide enough of these amenities for your entire stay. There is a seven (7) night minimum for all stays. • Maximum occupancy is 13 persons, including children, toddlers and infants. • Minimum age limit for renters is 25\. The primary renter must stay during the reservation. • A signed rental agreement and valid government ID are required for all reservations. • This is a non-smoking house. Smoking is permitted on the decks. Tenants agree to do so responsibly. • Pets are not permitted on the property. This is a hypoallergenic house in which the owners, who occupy the house part time have severe sensitivities to dogs. • Events are not permitted on the property. • Parking is provided for up to four (4) vehicles. No additional parking is provided. Our Cancellation Policy supersedes the no refund option provided by VRBO and is included on our rental agreement. Should Tenant have to cancel for any reason, the Tenant must notify the Owner immediately in writing via email. Tenant acknowledges that cancellation by the Tenant does not relieve the Tenant from the specific terms of the Agreement. However, the Owner will make every effort to re-rent the Property for the specified period. The location of the house was perfect. We were right next to the pool and just a short walk away from the beach. It was nice to have both options so close to the house. The weather was great! The beach was not overcrowded. Had nice neighbors. We mainly relaxed on the beach, went to some nice restaurants, rented a pontoon boat. We can't wait to come back again! The condo was well equipped and had plenty of room for our family of 9 adults and 2 children. We appreciated the easy access to the pool and the beach and the supply of beach chairs and extra toys in the closet on the ground floor. Any concern we had was quickly addressed by the management. Thank you!! That means a lot!!! The beach front was a bit more crowded than we are used to; I didn't notice their was a public walkway beside our condo when I booked the place. The location and set up of the townhouse were great. During our stay, the second floor air conditioner quit working. We contacted the manager and it was immediately addressed and fixed. The beach toys/chairs were well stocked and appreciated. However, the kitchen was lacking in knives and other meal prep utensils. The linen packet was very minimal for the required fee. One dish cloth and towel is not sufficient for a week-long stay. Nor is 1 small bath towel per person. Also for the fee I would think the beds would have been made. ##### LuAnn B. It’s close proximity and ease of access to pool and beach were perfect for our many trips back and forth! The unit was spacious and clean and had everything we needed. The house was beautiful inside, very clean, recently updated. Giant dining room table that fit our whole family. Really nice porches on each floor facing the ocean. We LOVED having the pool right in front of our home with direct access to the beach. Wonderful place to host our family reunion (8 adults) with plenty of space for everyone. The property manager, Bob, was very helpful throughout our stay and checked in on us occasionally to ensure we were having a great time and assist with any issues that arose during the trip. ##### Brittany M. Property was exactly as shown in pictures. We greatly enjoyed the location; private beach access and steps away from the community pool. Pool was more crowded this visit, as the area has built up with more rentals which all seem to utilize the single, non-heated pool. Walking distance to the pier. Jul 29, 2018 #### Great unit with super access to the pool and a beautiful wide section of beach. Had a great week and the house fit our needs really well. (6 adults and 3 children under 9.) The living area is large and comfortable with a dining table that sits 10 comfortably. Could have used a baking pan for brownies and a few more teaspoons, but that truly is a minor issue. Good storage room and a nice gas grill that we used several times. Our first visit to North Topsail and we will be back and will hope to stay in your well equipped and we'll maintained unit again. ##### Ronald M. With the 3 floors everybody had their privacy. We did a lot of cooking and we had everything we needed to do so at our fingertips! The beach was so private and quiet! The pool got a lot of use with 7 teenagers! Hot tub was a hit! My mother in law could just walk out the door, sit in the chair and enjoy the ocean! I can’t imagine a better place! Shopping needs close by! And soooo well taken care of and updated! Our property manager Bob was very helpful with anything we needed! We will Definitely be back. Jun 18, 2017 #### Beautiful, low key beach house 814 Villas was a perfect beautiful home away from home for our family and friends. We had 8 adults and 6 children and it was perfect! We LOVED having the pool in our front yard for the kiddos... the only things we didn't like were that we had to make our own bed once we got in. After driving 9 hours with kids, the last thing we want to do is to put sheets on 9 beds. We also would have liked to have had more towels throughout the house and cleaning supplies. We felt as though if we are paying that much to stay for a week (which includes a cleaning fee), we shouldn't have had to do so much. There weren't any trash cans on the outside of the property, like on the bridge to the beach or by the pool. Although it IS mentioned in the property overview Please be aware that this home is located right in front of the shared pool. And it is shared with many. We questioned wether some even were renters since there is a public beach access beside the property and no identification badges or bands for pool usage. There is little separation between the duplex you are beside. We were fortunate in that the family beside us were extremely friendly. This is located right next to the condo community with their balconies facing toward us. Many we were able to see into especially at night since are hot tub was on that side. Aug 20, 2023 Liked: Check-in, communication, location, listing accuracy #### We love the Villas! To preface, this was our second stay in this rental…so clearly we enjoyed our first visit. That being said, this visit we noticed a few things that can be improved upon. The biggest being the mattresses- they’re pretty worn down and were uncomfortable for all of the adults (7). Second, the cleaning crew could do a more thorough job- the floors were still pretty dirty in the downstairs living area. They had been swept/vacuumed, but not mopped very well. The first level shower curtain was really dirty, the toilets were pretty gross under the rim, and all of the blinds were really dusty (not great for kids with asthma/allergies in the house when you’re opening and closing these everyday with dust flying). The bedspreads/throw blankets hadn’t been washed in a while (had a stain on our master comforter that was recent and had to wash it ourselves upon arrival), and the throw pillows were dingy and need washing. These are all things that happen with daily wear/tear from a rental, but could use more frequent attention/a refresh. So basically, cleanliness and some small updates are needed. This all being said- there’s a lot more to love about this property…the location, the proximity to the pool, the hot tub, the kitchen is well stocked, there are ample beach chairs available, a grill, great views, beautiful space. The property manager and owner are great, so we trust they will address the things above. It feels like home away from home, and because of that we will return! ##### Crystal C. Y.
