"Bubbles' Retreat" Looking for a place to gather an extended family in a single home close to the beach with a private pool and hot tub close to the Omni resort of Amelia Island? Look no further. This 5 bedroom / 4 bathroom house has gone through extensive renovations and is now ready for your vacation! We have removed walls to open up the area between the kitchen and the great room, as well as installed all new tile floors, quartz countertops, tile backsplash, as well as new stainless steel appliances and washer / dryer. Also there is a swimming pool and hot tub that has been newly installed. We have also fully renovated the master bathroom as well as new sinks / countertops / lighting for each of the other 3 bathrooms. While close to the beach, our location is super private and secluded as we back onto a green wooded preserve but yet when quiet you can hear the ocean surf in the background. This quiet and peaceful location comes with expectations of our guests .... that NO LOUD NOISE OR DISTURBANCES will be permitted - of note: \- This is a RESIDENTIAL community with less than 4% single-family home rentals, \- This is not a “Party House” and renters need to be QUIET AND RESPECTFUL of their neighbors and their neighbors privacy, and \- There is a STRICT 10:00pm noise curfew. Additionally, this home is an ideal Work from Home (WFH) destination with high speed fiber optic internet (1 Gig) and 6e wi-fi and places throughout the house so you can shelter in place and still get work done! Nearby to our house and on the island are both Harris Teeter and Publix supermarkets that now have grocery pickup as well as Walmart and Target super centers on the mainland. Here's the sleeping arrangements by bedroom: MASTER BEDROOM - 1 KING sized bed with attached bathroom - walk-in shower, dual vanity, and soaking tub. Also includes flat screen TV with cable. Sleeps 2. 2nd MASTER BEDROOM - 1 KING sized bed with attached bathroom - shower/tub combo and single vanity. Flat screen LED TV with cable. Sleeps 2. 3rd BEDROOM - 2 DOUBLE beds with attached bathroom - shower/tub combo and single vanity. Flat screen LED TV with cable. Sleeps 4 kids or 2 adults. 4th BEDROOM - 2 TWIN/SINGLE beds with attached bathroom - walk-in shower and single vanity. Located off of the great room/den and sliding glass door to pool and hot tub. Sleeps 2. 5th BEDROOM - 1 sleeper sofa just outside 1st Master Bedroom and shares that bathroom. Sleeps 1-2. The layout of the house is conducive to large family gatherings - there is one large central, open plan area with a combined great room and kitchen. From that central area, all five bedrooms are located separately off of that open area - think of it like a hub and spoke. Additionally we have six bikes (4 adult and 2 kid bikes) for your use and a four person "Bubbles" the golf cart for travel to the beach in about 3 minutes as well as throughout the resort community to restaurants and other activities. While we are in the gated community where the Amelia Island Omni resort is located, we are not part of the Omni resort and its rental program, but there are still many opportunities for you to leverage the facilities. You have access to all of the restaurants at the hotel itself as well as anywhere on the resort premises, the tennis center, spa, miniature golf, and one of the golf facilities on the resort premises and numerous others golf courses on the island. As part of our guest experience we provide a very detailed welcome email that provides all the things you need to know as well as things we like to do and recommend them to our guests. That includes our favorite restaurants in the area as well as activities you may be interested in doing! We also have a universal Tesla Level 2 wall charger that can charge both Teslas (NACS plug) and non-Tesla vehicles (J1772 plug) up to 44 miles per hour of charge! The peace and tranquility of the backyard/home was a great place to spend time. The beach was a short walk/bike/golf cart ride away and was simply stunning. Heading out to Historic Fernandina for dinner provided many great options and our NYE was the most memorable with the epic Shrimp drop!! Karl was a wonderful, responsive and helpful host. We were able to heat the pool for a small fee and the location of the home was absolutely perfect. The neighborhood is beautiful and we enjoyed riding around in the golf cart. Those scored big points with us- heated pool and golf cart. Another bid selling feature- two king beds. It’s tough to find a home with two kings. This was great because my parents came with us. We had four adults, a 2 year old and 10 month old. My only two complaints- there is no disposal in the kitchen and the dishwasher can be finicky. A couple mornings we woke up to find it had stalled out in the cleaning cycle sometime during the night. Overall, fantastic home and we can’t wait to go back! ##### Elizabeth P. Very comfortable! Four spacious bedrooms and bathrooms were super helpful with everyone getting ready for events at the same time. House was clean, beds were comfortable, lots of dresser and closet space with plenty of hangers and extra pillows, ceiling fans in rooms were nice, Karl was responsive and helpful, golf cart an appreciated bonus, location quiet and close to exit gate to A1A which was helpful when heading off the plantation, neighborhood great for walking, backyard patio area private, kitchen seemed well-stocked. Detailed clear instructions for stay and tourist suggestions were helpful. Check-out procedure was easy. ##### Connie A. We had 6 adults and 3 infants/toddlers and had plenty of room. We liked that it was all on our floor and was also wheelchair friendly for one of our family members. The house was well stocked and everything was labeled and easy to find. The beach toys were nice to have for the kids. It was great to have a pool and golf cart as well. There were four families that stayed and plenty of room for everyone - the fact that every bedroom had its own bathroom is priceless. Pool is amazing and the kids enjoyed that more than the beach. The communication with the owner was excellent but the property itself needed some personal attention. It was not as clean as it should be especially the table tops, floor and windows. We were four couples on a golf trip and this home was a hit with everyone! Owner was very attentive and responsive to any inquiries that we had. Check in process was a breeze and the home was very comfortable for our group. The property is very pretty and very well-equipped. The neighborhood is a real pleasure to walk in, with its canopy roads. Our family has had a difficult year, and had been looking forward eagerly, to a week away together. Everything about this week was extraordinary! Karl was the perfect host - excellent communication all around. The home is lovely in every way. We had a multigenerational group - ranging in age from 15 months to retired, and this home fit our needs to a tee. There was plenty of room, and the layout is so smartly done. There was space for everyone to have privacy when needed, and a beautiful gathering spot for being together when that was needed. The pictures in the listing most definitely portray an accurate image of the house. It’s beautifully and comfortably decorated. The kitchen and bathrooms are generously and thoughtfully stocked. Seriously - you will have everything you need for a great stay! Having the use of the golf cart and bikes was great! The pool area couldn’t have been more beautiful. It was so wonderful to have the option of being able to relax by the pool during a very hot week, and to have a choice other than the hot beach for those who are more sensitive to the effects of the heat. All in all, I would highly recommend the “Bubbles” Beach House. We can’t wait to return next summer! ##### Bonnie P.
