Due to our wonderful weather most of the year, you can easily take your furry friend to many restaurants or bars with outdoor seating available, and they will provide them with water and head pats. POOL HEATERS: Pool heaters are turned off from 5/15 to 9/15 as the pool temperatures are at or well above the 85 degree threshold. To request that the pools be heated between 9/15 - 5/15, contact management 72 hours before your arrival. Pools will not be heated for last minute bookings. The pool heaters heat the pools to 85 degrees. When we experience lows below 45 degrees, the heaters will not be able to reach a comfortable temperature for swimming. Though we rarely see temperatures with lows below 45 degrees, it can happen in the winter months. Thank you for understanding. Close enough to St. Augustine that if you wanted to go for a visit or to tour downtown, you can! The swings out by the backyard bar were our favorite “fun feature”. The hosts pay attention to detail… for example: we checked in Saturday, the teens played corn hole in the back Sat evening. The boards had some wear from the weather, but we would not have said anything they worked just fine. Sunday we were gone for the day and when we got back to the house someone had been by and swapped out the corn hole boards with new ones. Again, we didn’t mention it or ask. They noticed it and took care of it. All communication with the host was efficient/clear & quick! We will def. Plan another trip! ##### Christie G. We reserved it for a family get together, and the highlight of this house was the backyard! It is perfect for entertaining, hosting dinners, barbecues, you name it. The view of the pool from the outdoor kitchen really makes it feel you are on a tropical vacation. Everyone in our group raved about the outdoor kitchen and how they had to have one at home. It was truly a treat to be able to entertain our family and friends there. The house had everything we needed and was clean, cozy, and comfortable. It felt as though we were right at home. And everyone commented on how comfortable the beds were! Mike and the Welcome Home team were a dream to work with making our stay as seamless as possible.
