Need to do better with customer relations, prompt maintenance on issue concerning room safety. Need to pay close attention to making sure rooms are thoroughly cleaned, dusted, floors mopped,and carpet is shampooed, deodorized and spot free.

The hotel itself was fine. Rooms clean staff is great. Did not like the facts of paying for parking $20 per day. Then finding out that they don't even secure the parking lot and other guests were just simply staying there not having to pay. Was also told by other vendors they never put the gate down you can just pull in there act like you're going to the restaurant and stay overnight. That's not fair. And also being a Hilton property even with my upgrade I cannot get a small refrigerator or microwave to my room. I guess that was for the next level suites? Which I've never heard of staying in a hotel of this size and or magnitude especially being one of Hilton's higher ends.

No fridge nor microwave. Parking charge $20/day which is free in other hotel. No trash bag in the bin. No refills of coffe for 3 days 2 nights stay. Carpet floor is dirty. It doesnt look like Holton Hotel.

The staff there is always nice and helpful. But sometimes the rooms are half cleaned. Either the your gonna find dust around your bed and tv or the sinks and tub will drain slow. It just feels outdated with goin there. Smart TVs would suffice for the price. Other than that the riverfront view is worth the stay.

Floor inside our room and hallway was gross. Two day stay and to ask each day for at least one thing to take a proper shower (missing soap/shampoo/wash cloth). In room coffee machine under TV would have been a great set up, unfortunately no way to plug in where located. Bring your slippers if you plan on staying there.

Even though this is a DoubleTree hotel, it is owned by Hilton and i expected more of their rooms. No mini-fridge. Rusted hardware in shower and it leaked water all over floor. Vanity scratched, tile/grout needs redoing. GREAT water pressure. Carpet is nasty, sticky, dirty and needs updated to vinyl. Room was hot and muggy, barely any air coming from ac, we had thermostat set to lowest setting, 68 and it was 72. Furniture scratched and scuffed. Mattress is soft but needs replacing, it sinks from wear. A good coat of paint makes everything new again. Would Not recommend!!

Unfortunately the room and building conditions did not live to the Hilton/ double tree standards. The staff was exceptionally great, professional and courteous. But the room was disappointing; the carpet on the room was stained throughout, walls were dirty; balcony door partially secured; shower with leaking pluming issues creating rusting in the tub stopper ( and you could tell it’s been like that for a while) Very disappointing on the facilities upkeep since the building is located in an area with a nice view.

I gave this stay 3 stars because my room was not ready until an hour after check in because it had not been cleaned yet. I am usually not in a rush but this time I had a concert to be at within 45 mins of finally checking in. Although, the hotel did make up for this. Other than that, my stay was very pleasant and the riverfront view was perfect!

In my opinion this hotel is in need of total remodeling. Including beds, pillows, sheets, towels, everything needs to be replaced The cleaning is not good and the smells in the room, elevator and other public spaces are not good either.

This property badly needs updates. Also, the hotel changed my reservation from what was booked without contacting me. I booked 2 double beds, and it was changed to a king. Parking is expensive. Zero dining options around hotel. Wouldn’t recommend.

I booked a room for a business trip in Jacksonville, my first time visiting the city. Unfortunately, this experience turned out to be the most disappointing one I've encountered despite having stayed in over 200 different hotels around the world. The room was in terrible condition with melon seed shells scattered next to the bed, a dirty floor, mold, bugs, and an unpleasant odor that made me feel unwell. After checking in and briefly leaving for dinner, returning to the room for just 2 minutes was enough to make me physically uncomfortable due to its uncleanliness. I quickly retrieved my luggage and had to leave the room for my own well-being. When I inquired at the front desk about changing to a cleaner room, I was met with the challenge of their computer system being down. The combination of the foul smell and lack of cleanliness was intolerable for me, leading me to make the immediate decision to check out without hesitation. Despite my request for a refund, it was declined based on their policy, leaving me with the unfortunate outcome of losing my money while leaving behind the unsanitary conditions of the room.

This was one of the worst experiences I’ve had at a Double Tree. The entire hotel was run down and dirty. The room we stayed in was extremely small, bed was broken and sink would not drain. I requested to be moved to a different room but got a quick response of “we are sold out.” I won’t ever go to another Double Tree for this reason.

How dare they charge hotel prices for motel rooms. If I could give a 0 star I would. The rooms are filthy, and I say tooms because on my way down to the front desk to complain, there were other ppl on the elevator with the same intentions! The bed didn’t have a bed skirt exposing the box spring which was literally filthy. Baseboards were dirty and coming off. Walls had stains. The carpet was so filthy I had to put towers on the floor to walk on. I checked in at 4pm and checked out at 6pm. I had to waste my time finding another hotel because staying there was not an option!!

The staff was very friendly and accommodating with my early arrival. They were able to give me a room at 2:30pm when check-in wasn't until 4pm. My main compliant about this hotel was that the tub had a leak and the noise from the leak was very disruptive. The bathroom was outdated and the room as a whole was just very old and not very inviting. I was only staying one night, so I didn't make a big deal of the leak but if I was staying longer than 1 night I would have requested a different room.

Room was very dated and unclean feelings. Glass cup still had water in it from last guests. Shower leaked water onto bathroom floor. We called guest services to ask for a blanket and was told “if we can find one” and never received a blanket nor a response. Great location. Pool area looked nice.

Room was very dirty, we were 4 and there only 2 towels. It smell like dirt . The beds were not queen beds like it was described when i rented the rooms. There were not trashbags. If you are a clean individual please do not stay at this property

I did not realize it was across the river from the main part of Jackson. Not a long walk but a bit inconvenient. Our room was large and the view across the river was very nice. The property is dated and could use a refresh, but in terms of value it was reasonable.

We ended up not staying due to the condition of the room. It was terrible. Carpeting was soiled, shower leaked and door would not open and close properly. Staff stated they were due for a renovation!

This has to be the dirtiest room I have had in all my years travelling. I had pots for hot drinks but nothing to use. I made a request twice for as they called it a coffee pot and never got this. I finally caught one of the cleaners and asked them for one. Unfortunately they did take one from another room but I’d did now work. Great view is the only one positive.
