This project will impact the entire building and includes jackhammering, waterproofing, and ongoing exterior construction work. The loudest and most disruptive noise is expected during the early phase of the project, primarily through the end of February, when major demolition will occur. Following the demolition phase, the exact scope, timing, and level of disruption from remaining construction activities are not yet fully known. Guests should continue to expect some daytime construction noise, dust, workers and equipment on site, changing conditions, and the possibility of temporary access restrictions to certain areas or floors. In addition, east (ocean-side) exterior painting is currently scheduled from February 9 through June 19, weather permitting. When units are being painted, there may be no balcony access and outdoor furniture may be moved inside. While rentals are permitted during this time, construction conditions may be disruptive and are outside of our control. Rental rates reflect the uncertainty and risk associated with booking during an active construction period. If disruption experienced during a stay is significantly greater than reasonably anticipated, any additional consideration will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. This fabulous 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom Sea Dunes Villa is stylishly furnished, offers magnificent oceanfront views from the double balconies, and has been beautifully remodeled throughout! This fifth floor end unit is truly the perfect seaside getaway! Upon entry you will immediately notice the breathtaking ocean views and the fabulous open floor plan of the living and dining spaces. Custom tongue and groove ceilings adorn this amazing great room as well as all of the bedrooms. The living area features two comfy sofas (one is a sleeper sofa), a flat screen Smart TV and again, spectacular ocean views. Windows line the walls of this room and natural light pours in from every direction. Bask in the warmth of the sunlight as you put together a puzzle, enjoy a family board game, or catch up on your favorite shows! The adjacent dining area offers a glass table with seating for 6. Through the sliders and onto the terrace, you will find the most magnificent views the island has to offer. A polywood table with seating for 6 creates the perfect space to dine al fresco while you enjoy the warm ocean breeze. Grab and book and a glass of wine and head for one of the two tall chairs at the end of the patio overlooking the vast beach and ocean! Walking back inside, the luxury kitchen is a chef's dream! Stunning quartz countertops, beautiful white cabinetry, and stainless steel appliances are all featured in this spacious kitchen. Fully equipped for all your needs, this kitchen is great for preparing meals and beach snacks! There is a laundry area just off the kitchen with full-size washer and dryer for your convenience! Down the hall, the master bedroom boasts a king bed, a flat screen TV, an oversized chair and access to the covered balcony with a bistro table and two chairs. Sip your morning coffee and enjoy the stunning sunrise from this shaded spot! The connected master bathroom features double sinks, quartz countertops and a tiled walk in shower. The second bedroom is home to a queen bed and has an attached bathroom with a tiled walk in shower and quartz topped vanity. The lucky occupant of this room will also appreciate having access to the covered balcony. The adorable third bedroom has two twin beds and a special window seat/reading nook! It has has its own bath with a combination bathtub/shower and a quartz topped vanity. You'll surely enjoy the huge Sea Dunes pool area for sun bathing and swimming! This sunny getaway is directly oceanfront and only steps from the beautiful beach. While staying in this luxury vacation condo you can visit the Omni Amelia Island Hotel to enjoy a glass of wine or a meal, rent bikes to ride through the resort's scenic trails, take a stroll down to the shops and restaurants, visit the miniature golf course, or rejuvenate at the nearby spa and salon. The views are amazing, the beds and baths were great and plenty of seating. Since this unit is on the 5th floor, a cart would have been helpful getting all of our stuff unloaded and then loaded. We also noticed that the floors could have been cleaner. But, we would stay here again. The staff at Amelia Island Getaways were very nice to work with and very responsive. Séjour de 4 nuits en mai 2024 ### 4/10 – Médiocre #### Anthony R. 30 juill. 2023 Points faibles : Propreté #### Aesthetically nice in pictures online but not a well maintained property The pictures online looked great but upon arriving this unit was not well maintained or clean to expectations. Showers and bathroom counters were not cleaned well, has residence from previous tenants. Baseboards, corners or unit had significant dust build up, windows and window frames had not been cleaned. Coffee maker had significant build up and needed to be descaled. Mold/mildew in the washing machine. Hard, very uncomfortable beds with small hairs/stains on sheets. Kitchen utensils pots and pans were old, non-stick was peeling off. The master bedroom has a hole in the ceiling that was half-way patched, still exposing up into the ceiling. It did not appear windows/doors sealed properly and let moisture and humidity into the unit. Overall the property was a great location and the beach was not crowded. The pool was not cleaned properly and needed significant maintenance with sand building up at the bottom. ##### Anthony R. We spent a month here and enjoyed every day! A corner unit on the fifth floor with two balconies, the location could not be better. It is just a mile walk along the beach to the tip of Amelia on the south end. The beach is pristine and not crowded, at least in January! The home is nicely furnished and the kitchen has everything you will need to cook in or warm and serve your take out. We loved the large balcony and spent many evenings sitting outside watching the sky fade into the ocean. The beds in the king and queen bedrooms (the only ones our party used) were great and we appreciated the walk-in showers with rain shower heads. This is a large condo and easily big enough for six. Management was exemplary; they responded to a couple questions/issues immediately. We highly recommend! ##### Cathy S. We ended up at this place after our other booking cancelled on us last minute and we couldn’t be happier that happened! This rental was perfect for our family. All one level which was nice for little kids and older adults as well. The property was very clean and had comfortable living space not to mention beautiful views from every room pretty much! Loved being right there on the beach so you didn’t feel like you were missing out when not on the beach. Easy elevator access and easy to get right out to the beach and down to the pool. First of all, this looks exactly like the photos, just as clean and beautiful. The development is lovely, the landscaping is lush and tropical, lovely walking paths. The elevator is easy and convenient. Parking was plentiful. The condo itself was just beautiful! The view from the deck was spectacular, we watched both the sunrise and sunset from the deck. The kitchen was fully equipped and well maintained. The bedrooms were all comfortable and each with their own private bath made for such a relaxed convenient week. Our only issue is the pool is closed for maintenance for quite awhile but the management company set it up so we enjoyed the pool at the sister development which was also very nice. The manager Ashton was in touch, or easily accessible, the whole time when we had questions about the pool or how to get into the gate at night. We stayed as a family of 4 (with two teenagers) and there was plenty of space. The only downside would be the lack of activity and action around us. Key points: - Extremely clean and well appointed. - Breathing views of the ocean and easy access to the beach. - Beautiful landscaping and close to walking trails, bike paths and amenities of the resort. - Well equipped condo with beach chairs, towels and kitchen items. -Amazingly large deck for meals, morning coffee or star-gazing. Care package on arrival is a nice touch! The pools were closed and under repair, but not an issue for us as we went to the beach but worth noting. 4 pm check in is not ideal and wish there were options for earlier arrival.
