What a great right on-the-beach cottage with 3 bedrooms. You step down from the deck and you are on the dunes. This is cute duplex that when you step down from the deck, you are on the beach. And your pet will love being on vacation with you. Imagine shrimp on the grill, kids on the beach, and a cold beverage in your hand as you sit on the deck above the dunes. The wide beach invites you to stay all day long. Amazing Grace is BEACH FRONT. It is not a piano lot, or a view lot between two houses, or in a condominium complex. It is a real BEACH FRONT cottage duplex. Five steps down to the beach or simple sit on a deck just above the dunes. Do you like to bike or run? There is a bike shoulder on the main road the entire way from the north to south. The island is 26 miles long, so you can get a good work out. You can even bike for fun (like I do). Recently I rode my bike to the south end, and the smell of Jasmin and ocean air was unbelievable. I stopped on the far south point of the island and walked around the beach on the undeveloped point. I then rode back to Topsail Beach city hall and said hi to the ladies who worked there. (They had kindly sent me an invitation to pay real estate tax in their city even though my house is not in their city. I graciously declined :-) but they were very pleasant!) I then rode back to Surf City and promptly bought an ice cream cone at DQ just to make sure I hadn't burnt off too many calories, then leisurely rode back to the beach house. Believe me, this place is fun. And I haven't even told you about Shuckin' Shak, on the mainland side and it's fresh lightly fried grouper fingers, or about Sears Landing and its award winning clam chowder made with sherry, or Daddy Mac's - a 2nd floor restaurant overlooking the beach. Oh, and how about the fresh fish market (I mean right off the boat) behind the Crab Pot where you can get shrimp, flounder, shark or whatever they have been catching and take it back and grill it. Or you can play 18 holes at Coastal Carolina's only four-star golf course, North Shore Golf and Ocean Club (as per Golf Digest). Perhaps you would like to deep sea or surf fish...or just lie on the beach. And did we mention riding jet skis on the nearby sound? WHY DO WE HAVE SO MANY REPEAT GUESTS? Well, I let one of our guests tell you: 'We absolutely loved our stay at Amazing Grace. The property was very clean and well maintained. The double balcony views were spectacular. The beds were comfortable and the view from every floor in the house was stunning. The house was pet and kid friendly. Such a great space not overcrowded with weird furniture.. I come with dog crate, beds and yoga mats so extra space is great and this place delivers! I also travel with extra laundry soap and dishwasher soap and toilet paper but here there was a great supply ( instead of just one pod for each) eliminating the need to run out and get supplies.. so whether this is the owner or a pay it forward deal .. I kept it going so great to hv stuff when u land! The owner steve was very communicative and helpful… appreciate the details as my gps did try to bring me a few doors down .. thanks steve! ##### denise l. As other reviews have noted, it could use some updating. However we were looking for something affordable on the beach and this place delivered.
