"State Street was undergoing construction and part of the road was blocked off. Judging by the gates, it was not the safest part of town. The hotel was fine, nice amenities, good breakfast, in-room Keurig was great. Furnishings were a bit outdated, but that’s no big deal."

"This hotel is 2nd to none ... By me having grown up in Jackson, I know the area and the city and knew of the hotel as the "King Edward" from back in the 90s. ELEGANCE should be the name of this place. I read the reviews and was skeptical at first, because I know a lot of hotels copy and paste pics from sister chain hotels and look nothing like the photos when u arrive. NOT HERE!!! Great staff, Great rooms, clean, smell good, comfy, cozy and breath taking views especially at night.ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS!!! next time I'm home I'll be back"
