Our nine day stay was very interesting. On our second night at the house, 2/4 of us were sick and ended up in the ER (which is just down the street from the house and the people were so caring and nice) with something probably caught on the plane. That same night, I had to call the Sheriff’s office because the 16 year old’s phone wasn’t working and I had sent him to the grocery store (5 minutes down the street) with the rental vehicle to buy cleaning supplies. Because his phone didn’t have service, he was driving up and down all the roads in the vicinity looking for the house. The road is difficult to find, especially at night. Six deputies were out looking for him. Eventually one found him and lead him back to the house. A few days later, all that behind us, we had a great time..tubing and skiing at Grand Targhee, skiing Jackson Hole, driving around in search for wildlife we cannot see in Atlanta, and watching movies at the house. Although there wasn’t a whole lot to do in the town of Driggs, the house provided a great opportunity to relax (either in the hot tub or sitting by the gas stove in the living room). The location is ideal to experience both Grand Targhee and Jackson Hole. Staying in Jackson would have been very expensive, so this granted us an opportunity to be close by without all of the expense. Grocery store just down the street, ER just down the street, great restaurant and pub in neighboring Victor, ID. We had a great stay despite the first few days!
