🐭 Mice Activity: Mice may be present year-round due to the surrounding wilderness, with increased activity during the cooler months (fall and winter) as they seek warmth indoors. We use natural and sterile methods to treat the cabin, but occasional sightings or signs of mice may still occur.  
❄️ Ice & Snow: Icy conditions are common in colder months. We do our best to salt and shovel walkways, but some ice may remain. Please use caution when walking outside during these times.  
🕸️ Spiders & Webs: In this remote wooded setting, spiders are prevalent. We clear webs before each guest’s arrival, especially around the exterior, but they often rebuild quickly due to the natural environment.

We really enjoyed our stay in Jackman! The house is right on the water with beautiful mountain views, making it a perfect spot to relax. We especially loved using the kayaks. The home was clean, well-kept, and very comfortable. It was a wonderful family getaway, and we would definitely come back again!

#### Wonderful property!

Clean, with a great setup for a real Maine experience! Was eating supper watching the rain come down across the water, when a female deer crossed the lawn. Adult children, grandchildren and friends enjoyed boating and swimming.
