Beds are ROCK hard though and I felt the staff were not really accommodating for very simple things. For example, I requested to be moved to a smaller side table, but the staff was not flexible and insisted my seat is in the middle of the dining hall. I was traveling alone and the side table I asked for no one was ever seated there in the end. Basic information like sharing that there is no detergent in the laundry room before I went for the long walk there could have saved me a trip all the way back to the gift shop to buy detergent. Small things like that just made me feel the staff were a bit sleepy and perhaps not happy with their job. I enjoyed walking around their grounds though and was the perfect location for hiking Amagi. The weather was perfect and I would stay again with my family. We enjoyed the quiet location and hiking trails nearby, and looking at Mt Fuji. The onsen has nothing exceptional but nice with view from the 8th floor. The restaurants had different options, we chose the buffet which was really great quality.
