1st time at Fontain and 3rd in Ixtapa. We were not expecting to be the only English guests at resort. Not many staff who apoke Engliah either. Very good local food but very local menu. Good immersion that might not be for everyone. Clean resort with great access to best beach imaginable.

This ocassion I was tterrible dissapointed, I notice that the Hotel did not care about customers anymore, Just MONEY MONEY FOR EVERYTHING. I rented Oceanview in the app, and when I arrived the charge extra for Oceanview, the room was no clean the floor were full of constuction dust, The room beside us was in construccione making contanst noise, and the staff was no friendly sometimes. pool were oversaturated, they look extreme full, Staff at the restaurant were rude. They did not have not sugar drinks, and I think it is the last time I stay here.

Yuri Prada the front desk supervisor was very rude so unprofessional. I wanted to exchange currency and they kept saying to come back at a certain time when I did they came up with all kind of excuses…very inconvenient for us that we didn’t know the area around. Will never go back. Not recommended for tourists who do not speak spanish.

Hicieron de mis vacaciones una experiencia horrible ya que yo lleve a mis dos niños de vacaciones y en el area de la alberca se pasaron llamandome la atención por que el bebé no podia estar, no lo podia acostar, que no deberiamos tener, que no debe de gatear lo tuve que tener en los brazos todo el tiempo o estar en mi habitación ya que las instalaciones no cuentan ni con ábanicos y el calor en los restaurantes, lobby, bar son insoportables, las habitaciones estan muy limpias pero huelen a drenaje, siempre largas filas para todo, y super saturado el hotel. Para ser mi primera experiencia en este hotel no volveria a hospedarme.

Las instalaciones del hotel muy bien, el trato de las recepcionistas espantoso, en el area de la alberca nos trataron muy mal tienen reglas y solo te estan llamando la atención por cualquier cosa y te lo dicen en muy mala forma. Saturan el hotel con gente al grado de que no comes ni tu estancia es comóda, las opciones del buffet no es muy variable y nunca hay nada gracias a que es un gentio. Las habitaciones muy limpias pero siempre huelen a drenaje especialmente en el baño y huele super fuerte. En lo particular siento que si aceptaran menos gente sus servicios serian mejores ya que nunca habia camastros ni en la playa ni en el area de la alberca, ni en el bar habia espacio para estar ahi, largas filas para la comida y desayuno, los elevadores nunca libres y solo funcionaba uno. En mi experiencia no vuelvo a hospedarme en este hotel.

The shower was clogged up, so was the toilet. Limited selection of food. They only have restaurant for the whole hotel, because if you want yo use the other one near the beach you have to wait a long amount of time to make a reservation and they are open a certain amount of time, so it is not a guarantee yo get a place. Cheap off brand liquor, water down beer, only two choices tecate and indio.

Front desk personnel was never readily available to help with our request. We were asked to come back later. The TV in our room never did work. The technician claimed they had poor signal reception. The shower did not have a washcloth to scrub your body. Their all inclusive bars were extremely limited with their drinks. Only two kind of draft beer which was kept on plastic containers and not stainless steel barrels for health reasons. Mix drinks were basic and pre-mixed, then poured in large containers to be blended with ice. If we asked for a different mix drink, we were told we needed to have a membership with the hotel. All bottles of hard liquor on display at the bars, were empty. Makes you wonder what kind of liquor the bartender kept at hand to make the drinks??? The welcome bar by the lobby was only open from 6pm to 1am. The rest of the bars in the property were open at different hours. You had to walk around to find one that was open for service. Their food in one of their restaurants made me sick for three days. They were not willing to take responsibility by providing medical assistance. For this reason we had to go outside the resort to find other restaurants. I’ve been a Expedia member for several years, and I am disappointed to see that Expedia has an agreement with a Resort that does not try to provide good service to out of country visitors. We will never go back to this Resort. We are extremely unhappy with their overall service.

Horrible y peligroso
Pésimo, no reserven este hotel está horrible, alimentos y bebidas de pésima calidad, la alberca un asco siempre sucia y olía mal, piso circundante a la Alberca súper resbaloso varias personas se accidentaron un niño de fracturó el Brazo, yo me caí apesar de ir con cuidado y me golpeé la Cabeza tuve suerte que Solo Fuera el Golpe, mal servicio, los Cuartos horribles apesar que Se Supone se acaban de remodelar , fugas en los wc lo cual permitía que Se saliera el Agua del Caño y olía horrible en fin pésima experiencia fui a una boda solo por Eso me Tuve que hospedar ahí, no vale la Pena lo Que uno Paga puedes pagar lo Mismo En otro hotel Vecino y tendrás una mejor experiencia en fin la peor estancia que he tenido

The property is very well kept. The pools are nice. The beach is beautiful. The food us your typical all inclusive. Some days it was cold, but overall it was good.

This place is really made mostly for Mexican families like a previous review mentioned. If you are coming from the states this is not your best option! Most bartenders & food service staff were rude! Food wasn’t pleasing, pool was dirty (didn’t seem like it got filtered & there was a water leak on the roof in our room (maybe AC unit problems)! Stayed here 4 nights & definitely wouldn’t book here again!

I would not recommend this place. I’m not one to care so much about the cost of things but it gets ridiculous when it’s “busy” season and they know your from USA. The place promises things they cannot keep. The liquor offered with the stay is watered down. The place charges for extra towels, they charge if you lose your wrist band, the things that are offered are not open at the times they are promoted as. In addition the breakfast is cold and nasty, if you don’t make a reservation “in time” you don’t get in therefore dinner is now being bought elsewhere. The service for the most part was good other than one waiter who rolled this eyes when I asked for coffee. It was a horrible experience, so I left after day two to a different one.

This place has horrable service says can get a room for 4 at the hotel they took my money and said there policy is only 3 people in a 2 bed room room then just played the blame game with Expeddia yet kept insistung i needed another room for the 4th person horrible service DO NOT USE THIS PLACE while we waited for 2 hours to finaly get told they wouldn't do anything but sell another room there were 3 different people that came down to say there room had mold and another that the bathroom above them was leaking and landed on a man wife while she was on the bathroom

It's the 3rd time we've stayed here. The rooms in the original tower need to be remodeled. I believe they are working on them slowly but surely. They put water coolers on each floor since last year. A good and smart move. Less plastic bottles. It was also a lot easier to stay hydrated. The food is 3* but the service is always great. The snack bar needs a better system though. It's reasonable for the price.

Location was good nice beach the pools are ok the food ok not bad but not great it was very busy the week that we where there so it was difficult to find a beach chair or pool chairs unless you got up a 6 am the rooms are decent the only thing I didn’t like was the hot water never got hot and the door for the balcony was really hard to slide ,hair dryer also didn’t work I was our first time in ixtapa so we didn’t know any better !!

By using Expedia you have no access to the Ala Carte restaurant. But for the price thats not such a big deal.. The staff at this resort are amazing, super friendly and helpful. Beach front rooms and excellent house keeping. Beach towels are starting to get thread bare and a limited number of beach umbrellas otherwise excellent value.
