My friend and I stayed for one night and it was the highlight of our entire trip in Japan. The food was incredible, the staff were extremely nice and helpful and attentive. And of course the onsens were immaculate. The single greatest highlight was relaxing at night in one of the onsens highest up on the hill and looking out at the full moon rising over the ocean while listening to the forest rustle in the background. The location at the end of a little track is exciting and then the rooms are beautiful. There are little private onsen dotted around the grounds so it is worth arriving early to try out a few in your yukata. There is an incredible dinner at 6pm- a varied selection of sashimi, miso soup and many other delicacies- all of it is beautifully presented.breakfast was a similar feast. The hotel Manager Miwako was exceedingly helpful.
