Made a reservation on Expedia for the night before the eclipse, had reservation number only to get to hotel and be told that hotel was sold out and I had no room. There were no other vacancies anywhere in Ithaca or surrounding areas. Had to sleep in my car. I had no help from hotel or Expedia. This is unacceptable.

I am very sorry that happened to you. I would like to offer a free night at our hotel for you. Our system should not have allowed an overbooking and it is not our practice to overbook the hotel. Old dirty hotel. Room had wet/musty smell. Floors were dirty. I had to use wipes to clean floor of dirt, hair and food crumbs from prior visitors. Seems like they don't vacuum or sweep floors. Glad i was alone and not w my family. To say the least, i will not be staying herevagain.

I stayed here for several days for business purposes because of its convenient location. The property is in need of updating, which I normally would not mind. However, my room had a musty odor and a residual smell of cigarettes (despite a non-smoking sign). Breakfast included options that you would find in a continental breakfast. Front desk service was okay.

It was disappointing that they did not have much protein for breakfast. Otherwise the bed was comfortable and room temp good.

The staff were very helpful and kind! My room was okay and had everything I needed, but I think some updating needs to be done for the price/what you get. It felt more like a motel at times, which is fine, but for the price point, I expected more. Overall, it's a nice option when in Ithaca!

the property us dated. the dining room was unkempt. the fruit was overripe. the room had been renovated, however, why put a ripped bedspread on a renovated room? staff smelled lime cigarettes

BAD, BAD, BAD. ugly motel. bad smells oll over. Old. very noisy and dirty. ordered a king room but they said that they did not have ong and gave me two double bads room.

Clean but outdated with lots of technology issue.
The hotel was fine but outdated. Clean enough but our TV and phone didn't work. Not only wasn't the phone plugged in, but there wasn't a place to even plug it in... and the clerk acted shocked when I mentioned the phone didn't work, but they had to be aware of the issue. The gentleman at check-in was very nice and friendly and helpful, but the woman at check-out was abrupt and rude. Did not feel at all that we got the value of what we paid for.

Very close to buttermilk falls. The property is old but not bad for a budget place. Breakfast has egg, sausage and pancakes.. The juice machine caught fire the day we arrived, so no juice.

While the place is very clean and the staff is friendly and competent, the place could use some attention. There were two dead trees on the parking lot that need to be removed. The towel rack had rusty spots, the paint on the bathroom mirror frame was pealing, and the door latch was broken.

Well done!
The staff was friendly and helpful. I enjoyed the breakfast every morning. It was an actual breakfast with eggs and sausage. Everything was clean and organized. We will stay with them again. Well done Quality Inn!

I noticed that you turned into a stayover, and made a new reservation. we provide stayover service upon request. if you requested stayover service and your bed was not changed it could be because you had personal items on your bed. we don't touch personal items.

At first the TV didn't work to change channels but the lady at the desk helped me resolve that quickly and efficiently. The AC wasn't super cold, but to be fair it was a heat wave and perhaps the power company reduced the power.
