For the price we paid for it, it was a very good place to stay. The personal was pleasant, and the room was nice and clean. However two problems: 1- When we entered in the room, it was so cold. Well, it's not the tourist season, and they save energy, but we would apreciate if they warm up a little bit a room they know someone is going to occupy soon. 2- The vent was making some tick-tick during the night which annoyed my spouse to sleep fine. Probably needs some maintenance. Except that, a recommended place.

When we got into the room it was dirty stains on both bed sheets and the was someone else's towel on the back of the door. also, the toilet was clogged so we never got to use toilet after the first try. there were holes in the wall ripped wallpaper with masking tape over what was small holes in the wall. stains on the carpet and ac unit needed to be wiped down. lastly one of the beds was lopsided and you would almost roll off the bed when you slept which wasn't long. went down next day to check out and the manager apologized and offered to take care of me next time we weren't that hotel, but I stated I would never come back to that place again especially because it was still $150

There was much dis-repair. Curtains were ripped, carpet on stairs worn through with large holes. Surprised that there was no mattress protector on the bed. Staff was very friendly.

It was conveniently located off I-81 and had a few surrounding good restaurants. However, the hotel itself was rundown badly. Bathroom ceiling was moldy and stained. Wallpaper peeling in bathroom and room. Bed was comfortable but not sure about what’s going on under that mattress cover. The staff was kinda busy amongst themselves and none of the doors locked that were supposed to be locked. Also parking lot was in bad shape. Just overall regret this choice. Oh and my keys kept deactivating and had to search for staff each time to reactivate but apparently it was due to my phone being near the keys. Probably would not stay again.

We forgot a special stuffed animal at the hotel and after we contacted the great front desk staff we were able to pick the animal up 1 week later! Great customer service! Thank you!

Choice Hotel Brand should look at this property, it needs a real update. Bathroom outdated, wallpaper coming off, walls damaged, furniture shabby. Breakfast was lacking, not even a muffin or danish for those of us who want minimal. I had stayed at Sleep Inn & Suites in Winchester VA. Smithfield NC, and Stoney Creek Va on this trip, all were updated and great at a much lesser cost than this hotel.

Patty at the front desk is amazing. She is friendly and very helpful. The rooms are old. Our bathroom had a lot of mold on the ceiling of the shower. The staff does well to keep an outdated hotel accommodating.

The pictures on line and their website are very deceiving. The room was filthy. From the floors, the tub had not been cleaned, the toilet was disgusting. The hallway was dark. The stairway (no elevator) was dark and filthy. The door to enter the hotel had a clothespin wedged in the lock so that anyone could enter after hours without having to have a room key. The staff wasnt friendly. The continental breakfast was not really existent. Very very disgusted. Would never recommend or stay there again.

No elevator, but…
My only gripe about this place is that it doesn’t have an elevator. Other than that, the room was decent and clean, beds were pretty comfortable, BYO USB adapters.

This hotel was beyond disgusting. Pills, and food crumbs scattered across uncleaned room floors. No wonder we saw cockroaches in multiple rooms, holes in walls, peeling wall paper. Makes you wonder if the bed sheets even get washed. The young girl who checked us in was sleeping at the desk. The over-night staff had a strung out boyfriend awkwardly standing in the lobby all night facilitating deals. When we confronted them about the bugs, she acted irrationally, and hostile. I thought her and her strung out friend/dealer were looking to fight(?!). She became down right my rude and her only solution was to lie and not give us her name, or the managers name, and tried closing out our room and wanted us to leave the hotel with every other hotel in the area booked full ( no wonder this dump was the only rooms available, trust me, we tried leaving, calling every hotel within miles! ).

The worst stay at a hotel I have ever had. Cockroaches in multiple rooms. Possible * bed bugs. Spoke with the front end and she was the rudest person ever. Yelling at us. Their only solution was for us to leave the hotel at 10pm with two young kids. They refused to give us the managers number and then told us to just stay. Worst experience ever.

The inn is awful, carpets are stained throughout, there’s no elevator so if your on the second floor the stairs are steep and a hike to the top.

Did the job, comfy bed, wish it was cleaner
Pros: Bed was very comfortable, staff was helpful and friendly, entry area and breakfast area were comfortable, wifi worked well, location was convenient. Cons: Bathroom was in rough condition with peeling wall paper, what looked like black mold on the upper part of the wall, rust around the drain, dripping bathtub, etc. There was an unknown thing in the sink drain (maybe a makeup sponge left by a prior guest?), and a walnut under the bed. Breakfast was pretty sparse - cold cereal (corn flakes or fruit loops), oatmeal packets, apples, flavored yogurt, and a waffle maker. Would have loved some protein or something less sugary.

I checked in got my room and it had no electricity!!! The bathroom however had lights the wall paper was basically crawling off the walls on its own. They comped us a room a Clarion bc they were sold out, which was just across the road. That however was moldy we just left. I submitted a request for a refund via Expedia and booked another room elsewhere. If I do not receive a refund I’ll be paying for two hotels on the same night.

For the second time in two trips your company wouldn’t allow the motel to charge my room on my credit card. When this happened three months ago, I was charged twice, once by Expedia and once by the motel. Expedia after six weeks of being hounded by me, never refunded my money. Eventually the motel did.

I loved the lobby and the breakfast area. The bed was really comfortable and the tv, microwave and refrigerator were all good. But - the wallpaper was all peeling in the room, the towels were nearly see through, the bathroom sink had a crack in it from one side to the other, there was a hole in the ceiling of the room and the chair rail on the wall right beside the door to the room was off exposing sharp wood edges.
