excellent location, very friendly staff, well kept property ... the breakfast & lunch buffet always had a nice variety, and the complimentary wine & beer with dinner was an added bonus

Typical summer hotel
Basic hotel, good located for a couple of days exploring the area. Nice size pool. The hotel is quite large, therefore could be very crowded, and during holiday season there are lots of families with kids. One thing they could improve is that the lounges by the pool are being "reserved" from 6 am. Meaning that people leave their towels there in the morning, and go back to their rooms and maybe show up again at 11am. meanwhile other guests are not able to find empty lounges. I know this is more about the guest than the hotel management, but the hotel could enforce a policy to avoid this to happen

Family Sun Trip
The hotel was nice. It was odd that the front desk acted as if we wouldn't be able to stay unless I was able to find the email from hotels.com on my phone and email to the front desk staff. The room was a big dated but very comfortable. The best part of the property is the pool and location to the beach and restaurants. The breakfast was good. Overall this was a nice place to stay.

Check in!
I was really impressed by the efficiency of the check-in process. We arrived sweaty and tired after spending the day in Venice and then driving for a few hours. The lady at the check in (Ines) did everything at a lightning speed, in under 2 minutes (verify passports, write down guests' info, issue room card and dining card, etc). Very helpful after a long trip!

Very relaxing, good value & friendly
Very nice hotel, in a very nice country-side / port side atmosphere. Plenty of food options in the nearby local town / sea-front area. Public transport stop to Pula (the local town) is right outside the hotel which was very convenient (although the bus itself is small and gets overwhelmed with tourists so you'll have to go early for it) The hotel was very well looked after and clean - and the half board option was excellent value for a good evening meal when you get back from a day out. The staff are very nice and genuine (example: we arrived to hotel 5 minutes before the evening meal buffet ended, and lady on check-in prompted us to leave our luggage with her to avail of the evening meal before closing time) Negatives are: - sound proofing between rooms is poor - there is no tea or coffee available in the restaurant for the evening meal (although plenty of soft drinks, beer and wine) - check-out at 10am is a bit early for lazy holidaymakers - the children's entertainment is finished when schools are back on - it would have been convenient if the playroom was at least open for people with toddlers

We stayed for 5 nights on half board. The food was good and the free wine, soft drinks and beer with the evening buffet was a bonus. We found plenty of things to see in this area, Pula is only a few miles away. The hotel pool was great and plenty of loungers were provided

Long weekend in Medulin
Perfect place for sunbathing & relaxing. Medulin beach is very near and it's better place for chilling than hotel's poolside. Breakfast and dinner are good, just try to avoid queues. Dinner includes free beer and wine.

Service is excellent. The staff is very welcoming and helpful. However, the building and rooms are a bit old. A facelift would significantly improve this hotel. Also, the location is excellent. Food is exceptionally good. Overall this place is gives an excellent value for your money.

Love the area, disappointed in the hotel
We booked two rooms for a short two night gtaway. One of the rooms the AC was not working properly and the tv remotes batteries had leaked acid all over the table. The other room the tv would not work at all. We went to the front desk to ask for assistance the first night and were told no one could fix the issues until the next day but everything would be fine when we returned from sight seeing the next day. Unfortunately this was not the case and we were told once again no one was there to fix the issues. Also, the wifi in the rooms is too poor to connect to email or send messages but the lobby's internet was usable. Pool closes early so please consider that when booking with family but there is nighttime preformaces and entertainment. Overall we loved the area but the hotels service and lack of responce to complaints means we will be finding a new hotel fro future stays.

This place has it all...but maybe you don't want it all. This is a resort with all the fun, fun, fun, of an all-inclusive resort. Loud party music interfered with my reading and we didn't make use of any of the facilities, but if you are looking for fun, fun, fun, this might be the place for you.

On the tip of Istria
the Hotel Holiday Mendulin is very reasobaly priced hotel in a beautriful location on the very southern tip of Istria (Croatia). The staff speak english very well, it has a very nice pool and access to small beach area (not much). restaurants are close by and it is an absolutey beautiful spot. Brekfast and parking are included and are both good. they had messed up our resevration and gave us a very small two twin bedded room for three- and immedilety fixed this by giving us a second room free. no problems encountered with this. i'd sty away from the basement rooms if possible- there are nice rooms with balconies overlooking the very nice pool area and the sea.

Der Urlaub war super, sehr freundliches Personal und leckeres Essen mit viel Auswahl und Abwechslung. Zum Sandstrand ist es nicht sehr weit und insgesamt hat es die Erwartungen gut erfüllt. Das Hotel hätte meiner Meinung auch 4 Sterne verdient.

Preis-Leistung völlig ok !
Das Hotel ist sehr sauber, das Personal aufmerksam und zuvorkommend , schade dass beim tollen Frühstück nach wie vor vieles einzeln verpackt ist , Butter Marmelade usw. , nicht sehr umweltfreundlich dass kann man besser lösen. Wir hatten nur Frühstück da das Abendbuffet wie letztes Jahr eher langweilig und überhaupt nicht kroatisch war , für unser Verständnis jedenfalls . Alles in allem das 2. Mal dort gewesen und wir werden wieder kommen , Preis Leistung ist völlig ok , schade nur dass die Liegenbelger am Pool auch hier nicht ausgebremst werden , ist echt zum kotzen was sich da teilweise abgespielt hat !!!

Positiv: Sehr gutes Abendessen, auch Getränke waren in der HP mit dabei, Frühstück inOrdnung, aber 2 Kaffeeautomaten, die sehr langsam sind, sind für die Anzahl der Gäste zu wenig: Es bildeten sich täglich Warteschlangen mit bis zu 7 Personen. Negativ: Lärmende Kinder am Pool mit Schwimmringen, Kunststofftieren, Reifen, Bälle etc. Bademeister kümmert sich leider nicht darum. Schwimmen im Pool gerät zum Abenteuer

Ein super Hotel! Kinderfreundlich, sauber, Essen war toll, man hat alles was man braucht dort.. Die Zimmereinrichtung ist jetzt nicht die schönste, aber völlig egal man fühlt sich Wohl und hat alles nötige. Werden sicher wieder dort unseren Urlaub verbringen😃👍

Hotel molto carino, pulito e nuovo. Io e la mia famiglia siamo rimasti piacevolmente sorpresi del cibo: veramente buono, avevamo paura che esagerassero con i condimenti o le spezie invece è stato tutto molto buono, soprattutto il pesce. La piscina è molto carina e di acqua salata. Ci sono parecchie attività durante il giorno per grandi e piccini e lo staff è molto disponibile e parla praticamente tutte le lingue. L'unica cosa che forse mi ha deluso è l'accesso al mare. L'hotel dista 80mt dal mare ma si affaccia su una spiaggia dedicata al noleggio barche e moto d'acqua quindi un po' trafficata; basta però fare qualche centinaia di metri a piedi e c'è tutto il litorale di Medulin con fondale basso adatto ai bambini. Il centro del paese è facilmente raggiungibile tramite il lungomare ottime per bellissime passeggiate la sera. Una vacanza molto piacevole e rilassante che sicuramente ripeterò.
