Hotel needs upgrade. Rooms are very old and outdated, carpet is dirty and stained. large selection of breakfast menu but taste is very average. I was disappointed with suhur plate during Ramadan, only a few slices of cheese and bread. However, staff are friendly and helpful. Very good location. close to shopping and metro.

Great location and friendly manager Emre
The location of the hotel was great, right near the metro and about a 7 min walk to the tram (there is a small upward incline). Emre was a great manager - always greeted you and had a smile on his face, the other two managers weren't as friendly and there was a language barrier with the man who brought the suitcases upstairs. Breakfast options were good and varied almost everyday. It would be better if the cleaning lady changed the sheets more often as we stayed for 8 nights and it was only changed twice and we had to ask for more toilet tissue twice as she hadn't topped it up but she was also nice.

The staff were always friendly and super helpful. Location was good for touring the old town and shopping areas. Plenty of restatement nearby too. Loved being allure to hop on the metro around the corner to go anywhere. No hesitation in recommending this for your stay.

Had to book this a short notice as first Hotel was truely dreadful. However inital relief was short lived as breakfast had no gluten free or vegan options at all. I am celioac it was a shame not even a good range of fresh fruit. Which mean I just could eat was an undercooked fried egg and some sliced grapefruit, lack of english meant that the eggs were always undercooked with 2 yokes so really horrible. Wide selection if you have no diet issues though. No decaff coffee or tea either. Had 2 rooms one view onto street facing TK max clothes shops played music till 11pm garden side was better but double bed in that was rock solid. The pool was tiny and cold really just a splash pool and quite grubby, we both got covid during our stay, most of the staff were coughing a lot across the hotel, and you couldn't buy covid tests which prob added to the issues. The towels in the spa used to lie on smelled unclean in the massage room. The rooms were well cleaned each day.The paid resturant couldn't have been more unhelpful, the only option was avocardo salad with the smallest amount in it, def not a main meal at all. The location was ok for the tube 2 stops to what turned out to be the much better side of the city for tourists, far more to see and do, across the river far more interesting to walk around. This hotel was handy for trams to major sites in the old town and the bazzar though. It felt safe enough the area was ok at lot of smaller hotels but would not rush back.

Hotel is in a good location within distance of major attractions. Buffet breakfast had many choices, which was great. The male staff members were very accommodating. The female staff member in the morning is stoic. The room is a bit outdated and the beds are stiff.

Swimming pools beware
Rooftop pool was the main reason I booked. It lead all the photos online and at the hotel itself. Having seen it last week two days after it supposedly shut for the winters season, I can honestly say I’ve never seen anything so grim. Half full of green slime. Battered sunchairs. Nothing 4* about the pool. Was told it closed end Sept. In the very small print ! No way this pool can have been in such a state after 2days closure. Doubt it has been open for ages. Down to the indoor pool.... to find a charge of $20 ! Hotel was advertised as having two pools. Very disappointed Hotel restaurant was very good. Waiter service was excellent. Location was excellent Room cleaning, we actually had to request toilet roll. That’s not very 4* either Generally ok. Just think pools very misleading and had I not have filtered for that option whilst searching I would likely have had a better choice . Lesson learned

Nice place close to most of the attractions. Facilities modest but perfectly adequate, room ok, swimming pools disappointing, but the restaurant and food was good. Best off all are the staff who were excellent. Good value, good location, and I'd stay there again.

A good hotel in a good location. I’m not a fan on insistence of keeping passports in hotels. I forgot it and it cost me a lot to return and collect it. They only need a copy.

The minibar should be replenished on a daily basis - by the end of my stay it was nearly empty. When I had a problem with my safe, the technician took a long time to come and had to be chased a second time. Otherwise the hotel is well run, with very helpful receptionists who booked a couple of events for us; and a good breakfast menu. I should have mentioned the phone in room 103 has a wire that falls out.

Staff was friendly and helpful.Room wasn't adequately spacious for accommodating 4 people (2 adult and 2 children). Swimming pool wasn't safe too use (too deep for use) and children swimming pool wasn't big enough. Staff was friendly.

Very friendly staff and helpful. The room clean, but they keep forgetting to put towels in the room and I keep asking the staff to towel. The breakfast is good, but it is the same everyday.

Nice location but unresponsive staff .
It was a nice stay but the room wasn't always clean. They repeatedly forgot to put Nescafé in the room. Cleaning ladies were not very clean, sheets weren't changed daily and room dust want cleaned.

So myself and my fiancée stayed at Vicenza hotel for 4 nights we've booked double room queen bed but we got single beds instead then they changed the room as requested next day the bed was horrible and noisy room was tiny. Local area full of shops and clear train station. My partner was sleep one morning and wanted to get a plate of breakfast in the room and the woman who's in charge said that I have to pay extra money to do that though our room was including breakfast anyway we will never go back to this place again

Hello Taher. After we changed your room, you told us many times that everything is fine, and you have no problems with your room. If it was "terrible and noisy," why you didn't say anything about this before? Breakfast time is 7-10, and usually everyone can wake up and have breakfast in restaurant during these three hours. Found this convenient hotel however the only reason it was good was due to the fact it was in the centre. Room was a mess, they did not even clean it properly. The lobby guy took us to our room and the cleaner was still cleaning. Bearing in mind we had a 12 hour journey there from Birmingham to London to Istanbul. We just wanted our room. We got there and it was not done. Room was small. The image on the photo is STRETCHED! Wouldn't visit again. The hotel staff are very pervy. We had a few of the lobby guys try it on with us. 2 especially. They bought us Pizza and expected something in return. We assumed it was a good gesture but no. They were then very rude. The other staff were very friendly besides those 2. They were very confrontational and had a go at us. They even knocked on our door to speak to us after the situation which was just awkward. We told them we were busy. Shower door was broken and room smelt like vomit. Breakfast was not nice.

Nice and Friendly hotel
Well I stayed there for three days, and enjoyed the place a lot. The hotel is next to the Tramway and the Metro station so you can use the transportation means to go to Istiklal street, Sultan Ahmed.

Excellent, helpful staff, quiet location but easy to access the major tourist attractions. The roof top pool closed, being early May, but this should be made clear in the hotel particulars. Breakfast choice rather ordinary. Otherwise an enjoyable location for a 4 night city break.

Bang for the buck, but be willing to compromise
1. The location of the hotel is great for cheap travel through and around Istanbul. The train is 5 minutes down the street. 2. The area is quiet but since the rooms are so affordable you will probably have neighbors with loud kids because the price is family friendly. 3. The beds are HARD. 4. Get a room on the higher floors so that you don't listen to draining water all night. 5. Breakfast is hot and it will due if you don't want to spend money on the extra meal. 6. The front desk people will want to keep your passport. Refuse and keep it moving.
