"We had an amazing holiday in this lovely place, perfect for our family. Our daughters loved the pool and the beach was great. They snorkelled and found lots of crabs. Claudio is fabulous he was the perfect host always checking in to make sure all was well and advising us on where to go. His hospitality was second to none. Thank you Claudio. "Place was clean, well located and friendly staff. The breakfast was the best we had over the 8 different properties we stayed in. Home cooked dishes which were delicious. Room was a postage stamp, but clean and during a hot summer night the AC was super powerful. Def recommend the place. "

"Upon arrival, the property appeared unkempt and tired. At check in we discovered the swimming pool was not Included in the fee and would cost another 30€ for one half day. At the pool terrace, we were removed by staff as our pool passes did not include sitting at poolside! We were sent to the “garden” area which was a weedy, garbage strewn area away from the pool. Our room was very, very dated and unmaintained, including several lights and the television not functioning, no air conditioning and dirty bathroom vanity. We were advised that the central air conditioning is controlled by the front desk and would be turned on, which it never was, or was set so high as to be useless. The internet was spotty and very slow. The mattress was old, lumpy and had a huge dip in the center, making for a terrible night’s sleep. All in all, absolutely our worst stay in Sicily."

"Visited Noto once again and returned to the Sofia (tried a B&B last year but not a great experience) so back to the Sofia and as always the all the staff are friendly and helpful. I would thoroughly recommend staying here - The rooms are clean and comfortable - however it would be nice to have Tea and coffee making facilities in the room, which I thought was standard for the 4* hotel. It is on the outskirts of Noto but the centre is 5 minute in the car. I will be back again "

"The property is kept clean and the pool is nice. The people are nice who run it. It is very quiet and the beds are nice. The one thing I would report is the mold in the windows and bathroom (this is something all 13 hotels we stayed at had a problem with - especially since there are no bathroom fans in any of the Italy properties) I am picky about mold so I am letting others know. I let the property know that the windows and grout/shower had mold. "
