The host though of everything, literally. Things that you wouldn't think would even be needed were there. Everything was excellent, cozy and very welcoming. The property was exactly as discribed. Nice outdoor furniture to sit in. It was a bit rainy while we were there so didn't spend much time enjoying it, but nice when we did. Host is very attentive. The host was quick to respond with any questions. I have family in Islip so I’ve stayed at two other rentals in the area and this was by far the best. It is in a modest neighborhood of homes that are well taken care of. It is also nice knowing you have a dedicated parking spot. The best part of the stay for me though was the quiet. The only thing that woke me up in the morning were the birds. I’m hoping the apartment is available the next time I’m in town. ##### Michelle W. This was the first time that we stayed in a VRBO and we were very pleased. The apartment was exactly as advertised and located in a quiet neighborhood. We walked into a very clean apartment that was stocked with all of the essentials we would need for our stay (i.e., dishes, utensils, towels, linens, etc.). In addition, the host thought of stocking it with a few extras, such as flavored coffee and tea k-cups for the Keurig, curling iron, and some snacks and bottled water. Our host was great! He always answered messages in a timely manner and responded to our requests. We would definitely stay here again! water water, etc. ##### JEllo M. We had a wonderful stay at this apartment. We were up in the area of my brother’s engagement party. It is in like a shared multi family house but we never once heard the other tenants. It was exactly as pictured online. The futon was pretty comfortable too! The real bed was also great. The host, Scott, was also extremely responsive. My only negative thing to say is that it did not have a cookie sheet, but we bought a foil one to use which was totally fine. They even had a whole drawer of spices & oil/vinegar to use! It had a single bedroom with plenty of space, even after two suitcases were opened all over the floor. The living room area, kitchen and bath were clean and had ample room for our family of three. My favorite part was the secluded back patio area. The seating area, fire pit and cafe lights were the perfect spot to have coffee in the morning and read a book in the evening. The kitchen was stocked, unlike most rentals we’ve stayed in. There was coffee (with creamer and sweeteners), snacks and waters available to us when we got there. As well anything needed for cooking, including spices. Our host was more than accommodating, reaching out several times to make sure we had everything we needed during our stay. It was perfect for 1 person and would still work for 2, but tight for any more. It was very clean and quiet. The neighborhood feels comfortably safe and you are parking in an area surrounded by the place, fence and bushes with a motion detecting security light, so I never worried about coming in late at night or about my car. Very nice backyard space, very private. The kitchen is small, not much workspace. I did not cook so it worked for me.Nice workspace. Very near to restaurants, bagels, deli but far enough that no noise. Bathroom is small but works for 1 person.AC is in livingroom so I brought a medium fan to blow the air into the bedroom so that worked out- bedroom would be warm without it. Went to Baynard Cutting arboretum around the corner and it was beautiful- worth the time. Loose rubber covering on mattress makes it slightly uncomfortable- I am fussy and it was ok for me. You need to walk through livingroom and kitchen to get to bathroom, but small enough of space that it is not far.The place worked out well for me and i would definitely come back. ##### sharon j.
