Fantastic guesthouse all your needs catered for. Excellent breakfast made with delicious fresh ingredients. Communication excellent, very easy checkin and out. We arrived on bikes so appreciated the bike locker.
This is a very clean property and the facilities are excellent. The room is beautiful and the breakfast was well cooked and presented with fresh local produce. The automated system of ‘self service’ for most things in the property works very well with the owners on hand if needed. Overall a very enjoyable experience.
Nice inn. Friendly owners, nice room, very clean. Great breakfast. Checkin was easy but I suggest offering option to contact by phone or WhatsApp since we had data for internet but not cellular to make phone calls.
Our room at The Caledon was spacious, well furnished, and had a lovely view of the sea. Everything was extremely well organised, with clear instructions sent before arrival. Breakfast was great, you can order what you want the night before, and everything was well cooked.
I liked all the self-service items you can buy either in your room or the bar downstairs, and unlike most hotel mini bars the prices were fair. Everything is paid by scanning a QR code and paying online. Extremely convenient.
It's a short walk down to Cowes High Street and the harbour. Maybe 5-10 minutes. We parked on the street to avoid blocking anyone in on the single width drive, and always managed to find a space within a minute or so of the property.
All in all it was an excellent stay and I wouldn't hesitate to return if we are staying in Cowes again.
karen and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this lovely B&B. This is our most favorite of the places we’ve stayed on our trip and the breakfasts were simply fabulous. Keep doing what you’re doing and we hope to be guests in the future.
I stayed for a night travelling for work. A great stay at The Caledon. The owners are very welcoming, the place is immaculate, great location in Cowes, the breakfast was superb and I like the ordering set up, very intuitive. I’ll stay again.
Checking in was easy and The Rooms were very clean and had lots of space. The hosts were very friendly. The breakfast was good and very tasty. Its situated very close to the high Street with lots of pubs and restaurants. 5 minute walk to Coop or Sainsbury for any little nick nacks you may need.
The Caledon is fantastic, so well organised, rooms are immaculate and beds comfortable. Breakfast is great and also local produce from the island. Friendly family run guest house.
A lovely guest house where the owners have combined their passion for supporting local businesses and ethical buying, with a genuine desire to make their guests feel welcomed and looked after. The décor is delightful and calming, providing the ideal place to unwind after a busy day. Great location too, with Cowes High Street a 10 minute walk away.
The only point I would highlight is that for travellers with mobility issues, the house is on a hill and when the driveway is full, parking on the adjoining/parallel streets are also 'hilly' and tight for space.
Overall, a delightful place to stay with super hosts and a mouth-watering breakfast! Thank you !!
This guest house was fantastic, the owners had thought of everything, from the moment we arrived, everything was seamless, we cannot recommend this enough, perfect location with only a 5 minute walk into the little cobbled streets of Cowes of bars, restaurants, cafes and shops, close enough to walk it but far enough that it was super quiet.
Everything about our stay was excellent. Contactless check in worked really well, the hotel was spotlessly clean as was our room and very comfy. The breakfast was delicious - well cooked, high quality ingredients.
It can’t be easy running a B&B under these conditions but the guys at the Caledon have it nailed and I would highly recommend for a comfortable, safe and well situated stay in Cowes.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, room comfort
Good overall value but room a little tired.
The overall package was good value for money.
Our room was in need of a little TLC and décor repairs.

This room has now been decorated back up to our normal standards, sorry that it wasn’t done in time for your stay with us and hope to see you again so we can show you the updates
Stayed here for 2 nights in September 19. Lovely hotel and service. Room beautifully decorated. Parking can be a little tricky. The drive will accommodate 4 cars, but all in a line.
Could have done with some drawers for our clothes in the room. But that’s just being picky. Great location for a stroll into town. e
Room and food first class.
Staff very friendly and lots of little quirky things such as bowls of sweeties in the hall . Good positioning as we had Solent views.
We had an amazing stay.
Andrea is an absolutely lovely host.
We felt like at home.
Mark’s breakfasts are amazing and all the products are locally sourced.
The location is perfect and the views from the rooms really nice.
We couldn’t fault the welcome, service, food, atmosphere and the decor. However, the only issue we had was the sunlight coming through the Roman blinds in the morning that shone light directly onto the right side of the bed which restricted my sleep past sunrise (5am). If the bed was repositioned or if shutters were installed this would no longer be an issue.
Spectacular property and very close to the amenities. A beautiful breakfast but the parking a bit of a hassle. But other then that it was a perfect stay.
Just had a lovely stay at the Caledon, it was just what I wanted. The extra special touch was all the produce and toiletries were all local to the Isle of Wight.
This is a delightful welcoming guest house. Everything about it is good. My room was beautiful, the bathroom considerably better than in some good hotels. The breakfast was absolutely superb.
