« We enjoyed our stay at the Frisky Dolphin. The location at the beach made for a perfect weekend. Our dog, Daisy loved being able to explore the beach with it being so secluded on the private area. Rooms were large and open. Everything was clean and comfortable. Contact with the owner was easy and much appreciated. My wife and I come back to the area about 5 times a year to visit our grandchildren. We will definitely book again. »

« We were very happy to find this huge house, with an elevator, for our family as we were evacuated from Cape Hatteras. However, even if comfortable, a lot of things were missing in the kitchen: small glasses for juice and kids, small plates for breakfast, light over the stove (in a microwave over the stove but not functioning so it was very dark when cooking mostly at night); a lot of pans where used and scratched. But it was well situated - short walk to the beach but with a dangerous road to...

« Very clean. Loved the extra amenities such as shampoo/conditioner, laundry products, beach chairs & wagon. The only negative- the door keypad did not work properly, and it took half an hour at 11:30 pm on our first night to get a response from the property manager (we were already calling hotels looking for a room), and locking the door with the key we eventually got was also a pain. Otherwise, it was a nice place & we'd stay here again! »

« Great host -- good communication and responsiveness, and he contacted us to let us know we could check in early. House was clean and well provisioned. Lovely views and access to the beach. The queen sized beds in the two main bedrooms were very comfortable and the furniture in the living room is comfortable as well. House feels smaller than the advertised size, but not cramped. Steep stairs with all bedrooms upstairs, which might be a challenge for older guests. »

« Yea the kitchen was fully equipped, Rooms were clean and very basic. Wish the living space had a bigger tv. The master bath was great. Loved the tub. The walk way could be made a little wider to accommodate anyone on a wheel chair or with difficulty walking on the uneven grass. Overal I enjoyed the space. I enjoyed the card and cookies left for us made a great fist impression. Loved the playground and the fact of an enclosed back yard. »

« House was clean, and very quiet neighborhood with older folks on both sides. Parking is a premium due to a cul de sac. Kitchen was well equipped. Stove was always accidentally being turned on ( bad design). Pool table needs a short stick( small garage area) If you don’t bring food with you be prepared to drive for awhile. Location is not close to and restaurants or grocery shopping. »

"Nous avons vu deux coquerelles dans la chambre une à notre arrivée toute petite, nous ne savions pas que c’était ça. On s’est installé pour dormir. Et peu avant 23h, un autre insecte qu’on a vu sortir de sous le divan. Divan qui avait été recouvert de tissus bon marché sale, et troué aussi. J’ai défendu les enfants de s’asseoir dessus. De longs cheveux noirs restants dans la douche à notre arrivée. Nous entendons les gens marcher et courir en pleine nuit en haut et le plafond en crépi tombait du plafond près de l’entrée… Nous n’avions jamais été dans un endroit aussi désagréable à rester et peur de traîner ces bestioles jusqu’à chez nous…. Ne mérite pas son 7,8/10…. Vraiment décevant pour notre voyage pour le prix! Nous avons par contre apprécié le fait qu’il y ait deux chambres et le personnel sympathique. "
