Beautiful, spacious 1BR/1BA condo located in the heart of Isle of Palms, SC. Crescent Moon is a 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom, 800 square foot condo located in Oceanview condominium complex at 1116 Ocean Boulevard, Isle of Palms SC. Just steps to the ocean, the private pool, and the best restaurants, shops, and bars that Isle of Palms has to offer. Great spot to view the live, local music on the rooftop of Coconut Joe's. This condo is ideal for a couple or small family looking for premium location in the heart of downtown Isle of Palms.

5) If you have any issues during your stay, please notify us immediately. At check-out please leave the place as you found it upon your arrival. Any costs to repair or replace an item, fixture, or furnishing found damaged after your stay must be compensated by you. All damage and replacement costs include a labor charge.
6) Smoking, Vaping, and Parties of any kind are strictly forbidden.
7) Guests agree to follow the cancellation policy at the time of booking, and agree to any cancellation fee that may apply in the event of a cancellation. Guests agree there are no exceptions to the policy including illness, travel restrictions due to weather, and reasons related to Covid-19. Travel Insurance is offered to cover losses for cancellations during full penalty cancellation period.
10) Guests should inspect the property upon checking-in and notify Management of any issues, damage, missing amenities, or unsatisfactory conditions. Should there be an issue, guests will allow a reasonable amount of time during business hours for Management to address or provide a solution for any reported issues, or unsatisfactory conditions.
11)Pet fee required for all pet friendly rentals

* It is the guests' responsibility to ensure they have all their belongings before checking out. If guests would like an item shipped to them, there is a minimum of $25 shipping and handling fee plus the cost of shipping. We will hold items for 1 week if guests would like to coordinate a pickup of an item.

Did the Trick

No real complaints about the property or our stay. It is a bit loud next door, but manageable. Parking is tricky for larger vehicles, but again, manageable. Cannot beat the location and the proximity to everything IOP has to offer

A little get away

The place was perfect. It had all the comforts of home and was very clean inside. We were there for a little weekend getaway after a wedding in Charleston. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony, listening to the musicians play at Coconut Joe’s, people watching and just relaxing after a full week. . A Grocery store is within walking distance, and there is a lot of food and entertainment within the area.I’m glad we were not there for a beach vacation as the beach was packed with people. I’m not sure if it was because it was the weekend before Memorial Day or if it is always like that because of the public access to the beach right next-door. On a positive note, the beach was very clean for the amount of people that were there.The pool was very refreshing, but it needed a good cleaning and there were many birds taking baths on the step in the water. The chairs needed to be cleaned because of the birds. Somethings should be done to try to keep the birds away like stringing some fishing line across the pool area as I’ve seen at other places being done. Just a thought.I give this place a 4/5 only because of the pool area but otherwise it was a very nice place to stay at.

Great Little Spot

Great place to stay in IOP. Very clean, even to my wife's standards who is the kind of person that bring clorox wipes and her own cleaners with us to "pre-clean" before we stay. It was within walking distance to several bars, restaurants, and an ice cream shop. Good parking accommodations. Clear instructions on property amenities. Beach access was great with a provided wash station to get the sand off of yourself and your items. Extra towels and blankets were sealed in bags and available in the closet without having to reach out to management to get more. Absolutely loved our stay.It is right next to a bar that has pretty frequent live music. You actually are directly across from it on the balcony. While we loved (and so did our dog) being able to sit on the balcony and watch and listen to the performances, it may not be the best for people with very small children or light sleepers. It didn't rattle the walls or anything and you can tune most of it out by closing windows and blinds, but it does run until about 10pm during the week and 11p-12a on weekends. Not removing a star as this is a great attraction for a couples getaway, especially if you like taking in the local scenes and attractions. Would absolutely book again when we get back down this way.

The location of this rental was exceptional — close to everything we needed and very convenient! Just a few housekeeping items to note: the sheets in the pull-out bed were not clean upon arrival, and some basic supplies were very limited. There were no beach towels provided, only two dishwasher tabs, only two garbage bags, and minimal toiletries (tiny soap and mini shampoo/conditioner), which wasn’t enough for four people for a full week. Overall, we enjoyed our stay, but a few small improvements would make the experience even better.

Great location! Perfect access to the beach. I loved opening the sliding door every morning to the sound of the birds and people having fun especially when Coconut Joes would open. The condo was just right for us and our dog. The onlyissue was that the unit did smell musty I understand humidity etc but that could be improved. Overall outstanding condo and fabulous week

Fun Stay!

The condo was just the right size for my husband and I, small but roomy. You can easily walk to 70% of the restaurants on the island from there and the pool/beach front accessibility was great. The condo looked to be updated, however the floors weren’t as clean as I’d like. There was a pile of sand near the table when we entered. I would also recommend guests check the water filter in the fridge. Other than that, it was fantastic and I’d go back!

Beach Stay - Family of 4

This is our third time staying in this building and we just love it! It's right on the water, and near bars, restaurants and shops we can walk to. We have two kids, 9 and 11, so although this is a 1 bedroom, with the pullout sofa bed in the family room, it was perfectly cozy! We planned to stay outside most of the time anyway! While the storm Debbie put a little damper on that the week we were there, we still made the best of it and had a blast! Love that there is a pool right before entering the beach, the staff is extremely responsive and the unit was clean. We will definitely be back!

We had a good time. We love the location because of how close it is to everything. Condo is wonderful. The only complaint is we got there Sunday and the music from the Mexican restaurant next door was so loud it was very hard to tolerate.

Great condo on a great beach

The condo was as described and very neat and organized. Access was easy and the location was very convenient. It is right next to Coconut Joe’s which is convenient, but it’s a very active place with lots of music and crowds. It worried at first because of noise, but it really wasn’t a problem at all because of the noise ordinances. We loved our stay and would stay again!

Easy access to beach

We stayed in the 1 bedroom apt. It was clean but no supplies for coffee or tea were provided. So bring your own coffee grounds. The condo is nicely lit at night. Thankful for the noise restrictions because coconut Joe’s is right next door and loud. Also balcony (side of building)only for 1 person to enjoy somewhat of an ocean view. Public access and bathrooms are adjacent to property. Location to restaurants are awesome. Parking under condo and elevator makes it nice to access from car to apartment.

Great location!

Pros: Location, location, location! Easy walk to the beach, easy walk to restaurants (every meal we had on IOP was excellent), easy walk to shopping (though there's not many shopping options). Property Management. If I had a question I texted the property manager and they responded quickly. An issue with the elevator was fixed promptly. Most notably, our check-out date coincided with a horrible storm, but they allowed us to stay a little later so the worst of the storm could pass before we hit the road to head home. Space It's a spacious unit, perfect for two people (and two dogs!). Ocean view It isn't oceanfront, but there is still a nice view of the beach and ocean from the deck. Cons: This is an industry thing, but I really dislike the new option to check in early or check out late - for an extra fee. Misc: As other have noted, the deck over looks a beach bar. If you are someone who wants/needs complete silence, I'd suggest looking at one of the other units in the building. I didn't notice any noise when the doors were closed and the TV was on, but if the TV was off I could hear the music playing - not loud, but enough that I could recognize the song. It wasn't bothersome to me, but I imagine someone who is noise-sensitive could be bothered by it. All in all, I would definitely stay here again, and hope to plan another trip soon.
